Cut exp loss on death

Gets incredibly annoying when half the time if not all the time the deaths are due to lag from server. ( i know raising ambition cuts exp loss from death) but still 10% exp loss base is steep over time.

Edit: Please disregard this suggestion, no longer an issue for me.

    Up your ambition to lvl 100. That really cuts down the amount of exp you lose. Wouldn't hurt to also join a guild that has lots of SP invested the 'fearless' skill (which decreases the amount of exp you lose if you die). if all else fails, use you maple reward points to buy safety charms.

    I think the game needs more of a death penalty, not less.

    Yeah, especially with the new anti-afk mobs, we gotta make it so anyone taking their eyes off Maple for five seconds drops to 0 exp.
    And take safety charms out of the game, they are for filthy casuals.

    not about the game being hard, the game isnt hard. It's like you guys with the skills being passive or not. just in this case it's about the deaths resulting from the server and latency around the time when more and more people log in.

    That's a completely different issue.

    I would support removing the AFK mobs, I do not support reducing the xp penalty from death.

    I would support removing safety charms (or at least make them cost a lot more), yes.

    I'm over this thread, i got the character I wanted to level to the level I wanted him to be, just the deaths form lag is what made me post this. I actually support the auto aggro mobs but they create lag as well.
