Max character creation slots/How many characters

How many characters are there currently in maple and how many slots are there per server? Currently going for grandmaster union want to prepare adequately

    So according to some reddit users

    There are other Maple Services that have over 40 character slots, don't remember which ones
    and the Oblog owner stated that it is up to our server to increase over cap.

    As ya'll know KMS is bringing out a new class and another new class at the end of summer.
    Will GMS raise the character cap?

    Because of Union, our 40 characters are probably capped with every single class made, I believe GMS has 41 classes total?

    42, I have 40 in reboot minus zero which is plus 1, and the new class is 42

    some ems players have > 40 slots due to how the migration worked.

    It's quite harmless if they want to add more slots I would think.

    If there are concerns with legion balancing it should be possible to have the server only count your 40 highest level characters I would think.

    Max character slots right now is 40.
    There are 41 classes in GMS. Will be 42 when we get Cadena.

    I have max slots as well. Indeed it is 40.

    I think when more classes are introduced it be expanded again, but that will be over time. It has been expanded once already if I recall correctly, so I don't see why they wouldn't again if that is the case. ;)

    That depends on what GMS decides to do. It has been suggested, and with Cadena arriving in December (with speculation of an additional new class yet to be revealed to KMS) it's not impossible. KMS, however, does not have Jett, Hayato, Kanna, or Beast Tamer, meaning their character slots still outnumber their number of classes, so any change will most likely be from GMS and not KMS.
    Otherwise you might simply consider creating a side character in another server. You won't get Legion bonuses or storage capacity, but you can meet up with friends you don't normally see.

    We'll be receiving the KMS Nova patch in approximately 6 months, in December. The KMS summer update is our winter update, and their winter update is our summer update.
