So..how do I get to Showa Town?

After the update on Mushroom Shrine, which imo, looks terrible and ruined the nostolgic feel to the place, I can't seem to figure out how to get there.

Any advice?

    When you're at Mushroom Shrine, keep heading right until you get to Creepy Bridge. Then take the portal on the right again and you should be connected to the Showa maps.
