Regarding region-limitation

hello, im from Indonesia, i've read article about "region-limitation" and it stated that "Only players in Indonesia that have a GMS account created on or before 5/1/2014 are able to play on GMS."

but, i just made my account yesterday, i can login just fine, already made my character, apparently i didnt get blocked at all.

so just wanted some confirmation, does region-limitation already removed ?

    perhaps they were lifted due to the failure of the Indonesia MS service
    the service started like mid 2015 and died near the beginning of 2016

    Brazil is a different case.
    When Brazil MS closed, the players were directed to use EMS. So, when EMS migrated the GMS, Brazilian players were, too (although the restriction might have been lifted before the migration was completed, for some reason).

    yeah i already know about brazil
    but vietnam which was completely blocked before got ip-block removed too, the same case as indonesia

    Would you be able to inform us where you gathered this information: "Only players in Indonesia that have a GMS account created on or before 5/1/2014 are able to play on GMS."

    I was informed that Indonesia was unblocked in 2016. There should be no issue now.
