We all love the effort Nexon puts in to Balance the game.
Let me Quote from the Tune-up patchnotes:
"Skill Revamps
[Updated September 1]
•All jobs receiving some skill revamps to improve the balance between jobs.
•Both Kanna and Hayato are receiving skill revamps to adjust their skills’ stats, balance, energy cost, and more.
•Kanna’s stats will be increased to make her more competitive and balanced with other Magician Jobs "
thx for aknowledging the Need to make the kanna class more competitive with other classes and a really fun class to play
October 18 (not even 2 months later) they decided to move the balancing to the next Level and started with the kanna again.
Nexon decided that the game would become much more challenging when they removed 70% of the damage of the kanna class.
All Nexon Needs to do now is to remove 70% of the damage of all other classes and the game is in Balance again and more challenging for all than ever before.
I really hope they implement this easy way of balancing the game as soon as possible.
In the unlikely Event that Nexon is not planning to remove 70% of damage for all other classes and just thinks it is a good idea to treat all kanna Players unfair, I think they could at least Show some Goodwill to all those Players that feel cheated by this sudden discrimination.
Nexon has several Options to make up for this kanna hate which could Keep some Players from leaving the game.
If this nerf is meant to kill the kanna class they could give all kanna Players the Option to make a Job Change.
Changing to any other mage class could Keep us from Feeling robbed from all the effort/NX we put in over the years to main our kanna.
This way we could easily Keep all our untradeble gear / quest items and continue to have some fun in the game.
We could Keep our arcane force and if nexon added about 10000 nodestones to this deal we could even reskill fast to Keep our current strength.
(they can easily calculate how many nodestones everybody Needs to make the same lvl of nodes for the new Job as we have now)
In the unlikely Event that they did not really want to kill the kanna class i suggest they make an effort to give some strength back to make kanna playable.
An Option would be to give each kanna in the Region of 25 legendary Bonus potential scrolls and somewhere between 2000 and 5000 free cubes to cube those Bonus potentials.
This way kanna Players could at least regain some of the strenght they just lost and continue to Play their kanna main.
These are just some possible alternative options for nexon to Keep the game fair and balanced
A solution like giving all kanna 25 free plat scissors and making all gear they have tradeble so they could put it on another char is probably too hard to execute for nexon, due to loads of gear being quest gear and Level differences between receiving chars and kanna, so anything in this direction would only be a half solution for playability.
Asking Nexon to admit they made a mistake killing off the kanna class and rerolling the nerf is probably too much to ask and too hard for Nexon to admit.
I guess I´ll try to attach my first poll to this one
How do you think nexon can finetune their game balancing?12 votes
Make all non kanna classes 70% weaker so they can enjoy the same challenge in game as a kanna
 67% (8 votes)
Give kanna the option to make any job change they want, including nodestones to replace existing
 8% (1 vote)
Give kanna all they need for free to get good legendary bonus potential stats on all items
 0% (0 votes)
do not change a thing, i hate kanna anyhow and do not care for other players
i agree with you regarding the "balancing-updates" for the Kanna. My Kanna is level 220 and was also equipped really strong gear, nodestones and important sets for the endcontent. Through this "adjustment" it is now no longer possible for me to grind with adequate Arcane-Force in my level-range at Lachelein. Bosses are also only conditionally possible and many only with the help of other classes.
You cannot call it "balanced" no longer. The stand before the patch was definitely too strong - but what was made of it is also not acceptable. We have fallen from one extreme into the next.
Because of this i can only hope that Nexon will think about what they did again to the Kanna class and "balance" it yet again to the better for all.
XD I'm sorry, but I found it absolutely hilarious that you go through a list of things like:
-Reduce all classes to 30% of their original damage
-Give us a job change
-Give us 25 legendary b-pot scrolls and 2k~5k cubes to cube them
-Give us 10000 nodestones
And then you say that them handing out 25 PSoK's or reverting the nerf is too hard! XD This is way too funny.
For reals though, if you even want Nexon to look your way, you need to be more reasonable. For example, having Haku retain the buff and making it a self buff. Not sure why that wasn't done in the first place. Removing it entirely was going too far, THAT I'll agree with.
Free PSOK only works on a couple of items and still means a huge set-back, therefor i do not consider this a solution for the kannanerf
Well:
1. Why did you bring it up?
2. If nexon actually did give all Kanna players 25 PSoK's, that'd be really nice of them.
3. It'd better than the current situation.

i think you are over reacting, what happend before the kanna and hayato revamp, they were a weak class, and there were few ppl that main them, say years but kanna become popular when she got buffed, now that she comes to her first nerf, you just want to other ppl be weaker than you?, lets take a min and see how many classes are forgotten or "unpopular" Beast Tamer, Mihile, or the classes that need to be really funded to make a diference.

greetings MC
this would allow them to fund another char that can actually kill something and make maple enjoyable again.
anyone know of a fun game to Play untill nexon restores Balance?
yea kanna need a buff, add stuff like passive final damage % or something , but haku bless was broken and needed this change.
Maplehood event starting soon, free PSOK, use it to move to a different mage class or whatever.
-Reduce all classes to 30% of their original damage
-Give us a job change
-Give us 25 legendary b-pot scrolls and 2k~5k cubes to cube them
-Give us 10000 nodestones

Make haku buff a selfbuff, only for kanna
then they decided to reduce kanna to 30% of that balanced strength
not really hard to do the math for what it takes to restore Balance is it?
