It's now been 2 days since this fiasco started and we haven't had ANY RESPONSE.?

Why?

Where are the GM's?
I know there are FORUM GM's that are supposed to read this stuff.
But what about IN-GAME GM's?
OR COMMUNITY MANAGERS?
And Zero Response yet???
Not even a, "Ohh ****, we see you're upset. We gonna talk about it and get back to you soon."
Not saying they are going to fix anything at all, just that they see our concern.

Since the patch they've updated the CASH SHOP, added more events, and posted a NOTICE admitting they wrote the code wrong for the 'Intense Power Crystal' (the immediate fix being, just drop the item lmfao)

I'm not understanding how you witness over +20% of your remaining population say they are quitting REGARDLESS of fixing this.
The fact that it happened AT ALL is making them quit.
And you're just like MIA?

Like what's going on over there? Celebrating New years early?

I know this comes off as rude and/or insensitive.
Maybe my understanding of how large Nexon NA is, is wrong.
Maybe it's 20 people in a small offfice and they are hardcore over worked. I'm not 100% sure.
But it honestly feels like this whole fiasco was done on purpose.

Or at least the avoiding us part is.
How else could we take it, when you don't tell us otherwise?

I know this comes off as rude and/or insensitive.

If you know then don't write it.

As far as responses go, the notice instructed users to sell the crystal as soon as they can to retain value, not to drop the crystal. The crystal works, the issue only crops up when you log out for a long period of time.
There are other issues, and those other issues need to be and are being addressed as well. Just because there isn't an emergency maintenance to fix one particular issue doesn't mean it hasn't been addressed.

The announcement post was your indication that the issue is being looked into.

Oh you're one of those guys, the ones that don't like free and open press, huh?

As for your first response it specifically says this,
" The "Intense Power Crystal" meso value is lost when your character has been logged off for a period of time(*UNSPECIFIED- could be 1 second or 24hours*) and the item cannot be sold. However, the "Intense Power Crystal" can still be dropped and will expire correctly. Please make sure to exchange this item with "Collector" in the Free Market before you log off your character to ensure you get your meso reward."

So if you read that correctly, they first state that if you logged off ALREADY BEFORE experiencing this ISSUE, the "Intense Power Crystal" would LOOSE IT'S VALUE AND CANNOT BE SOLD. However it can still be dropped and will expire correctly.
So yeah first they say when you experience this "bug" DROP your "Intense Power Crystal" and then NEXT TIME make sure you sell it before you log off.
So yeah their fix is to DROP the item and then don't forget to sell before you log off next time...

As for your second, non-parsed response:
"There are other issues, and those other issues need to be and are being addressed as well. Just because there isn't an emergency maintenance to fix one particular issue doesn't mean it hasn't been addressed."

Yeah I get that bro, but that's not what I was saying.
What I was saying is why haven't we gotten a response yet.
Not why haven't we gotten this fixed yet.
I understand that emergency maintenance's are an intensely difficult task and it's something that takes a lot time and effort to do.
But writing a NOTICE saying, "Yo, we see your upset." DOESN'T require an emergency maintenance.
I mean they already just posted one about the bug I was arguing with you about above.

Next time before you play the MOD card and try to respond fast, please take the time to read what the individual is actually trying to say.
It really helps further the conversation rather than slow it down.

I mean this whole time, I could have been notifying my fellow guildies or friends with an approximation of when we could get a response.
Or even with telling them that the MODERATOR Neospector understands the community's feedback and is actively seeking out some type of conversation between the PLAYERS and the PEOPLE IN CHARGE to see how we can come to a mutual understanding.

but noooo, you essentially don't even read what you're responding to.. smh

"Calling out" other users or moderators is against the rules. Calm down; yelling gets you nowhere.

I was referring to the announcement post you talked about in your original post. This post is an indication that issue is known and being looked into, it's also meant as advice to help mitigate any negative impacts the bug may have. Not instructions, advice. A workaround, not a solution.

My post was meant to indicate that just because a response isn't explicitly given daily doesn't mean it isn't being looked into. Everyone wants someone to officially reply to their post every day to update them on what's going on. Fact is, I don't know what's going on. I know the issue is known, and I know Nexon made an announcement stating that the issue was known. If I don't know what's going on and have no new information to give you, I cannot update you on anything. It'll be fixed when it's fixed, getting angry and yelling at me is not going to speed it up.

    Close reasons:
    • Inflammatory towards moderators/Nexon
    • Direct attack against another user (as per your second thread, which I removed as spam)

    http://forums.maplestory.nexon.net/discussion/6835/code-of-conduct#latest
    - Please do not make threads directed at the Community Managers/Volunteers. They will try to offer assistance if they can but please understand they may not comment or have information to provide at the time.
    - Inflammatory threads towards the game, the players, the company and its employees will not be tolerated.

If you decide to calm down instead of lashing out I can try my best to help you. Until then, you should respect the rules and other users.
