Nova Class Cadena

I just realized, Cadena is a Nova Class
but unlike other Nova class, how come Cadena doesnt have a built in rope lift that's Purple :(

    I'd say that her chain pursuit functions as the grapple you're looking for. It's not straight up of course, but I think it works.

    True, but it would of been helpful to have a Grappling Hook skill. It's more difficult to control Cadena's chain pursuit (at least for me).
    I often end up accidentally canceling the skill by pressing it again or it ignores a platform. :/

    Honestly, I didn't even know that. Grappling was a reason why I loved Angelic Buster, along with double mid air jumping and mobile skills. :p
    I haven't gotten to 5th job yet so I would of never known about this. Thanks! :)

    yeah i know that but Nova and their grappling hook felt more of a Nova class thing to me :/
    kinda sad cadena doesnt have one like the other 2 nova's.

    They certainly didn't make things any easier with Nova release.

    Cadena's platform jumping skill is a little wonky, but once you get used to how it works, it's about the same, except that you gotta work the angles correctly, and watch out for ladders and ropes.

    Please note that you can extend the range of Cadena's Chain Pursuit by holding down the skill key. Merely tapping the key will not shoot the chain very far at all.

    As long as you're not holding up after you've hooked onto a platform, you won't grab any ropes on the way up.
