Check out the v.255 - The Dark Ride: Ride or DIe Patch Notes
here!
I once read on reddit that the way it works is that you simply multiply [100%-(your IED)] by your enemy's PDR to calculate their final damage reduction.
So say if you have 90% IED and your enemy has 50 PDR, you'd deal 5% reduced damage, and if they have 250 PDR you'd deal 25% reduced damage.
In actuality I have almost 97% IED on my character and I've observed that on some bosses, say nark, I deal 60m lines, while on others, like nmag , hhilla or cra, I deal only around 30m lines. If it worked like I was told then the difference would be hardly noticeable. Is there another reason for the difference, or is the way I was explained how PDR/IED works wildly incorrect? lv 220 shade on Reboot if it's relevant.

Most major bosses (Hilla, Magnus, Chaos Root Abyss bosses, Cygnus, ...) also have elemental/physical damage resistance (fire, lighting, poison, darkness, holy, fire, ice and physical damage is reduced by 50%, this is reduced by "ignored elemental resistance" effect which most non-mage can have maximum of 5%)
Yeah, physical attacks are still considered an element
Edit- I just realized there's no such hyper stat lol.
So no way around this?
