As some of you may know, Global MapleStory is getting closer to 5000 days of service.
As of today,
more then 4500 days of service have been passed since the the birth of the Global MapleStory! It will happen in 1+ years from today, and due to this, it will be a great opportunity to celebrate!
Korea MapleStory already celebrated their 5000 days of their service - a special event which was included some special rewards given during 10 days for collecting candles dropped by monsters within level range.

The event was taking place on the MapleStorySEA service too (they didn't reach to 5000 days yet).

I would like this event to arrive to here, to Global MapleStory, too.
I believe it's great and super fun and colorful event with joy which was created to commemorate the 5000th day of the service!

The event will last until 17th April 2018 at 23:59 (Thailand time-zone)!
The event rewards with some permanent decorative cash items such as Maple 5000 days's Flag, Maple 5000 days's Hat and Maple 5000 days's Cape!!
The final reward for collecting up to 5,000 candles by collecting 500 candles for 10 times is not but a special Maple 5000 Days Cake Chair which grants a very unique and special buff of 5,000 HP and 5,000 MP every 10 seconds (permanent, tradeable within the account)!
Hopefully this event will run at the appropriate time.

Then again, we keep getting all the moon bunny events from Korea...
We'll have to wait and see.
I hope we will get that amazing event which was designed exclusively to commemorate that period of time on other services including South Korea and Japan. Even it's an eastern culture - it's still special enough and it was an event in the game itself.
Also, the majority of the voters voted they want that event to be applied as it brings its unique joy and benefits.
Hopefully all these facts will be taken in consideration.
....and why does the majority of a fan made poll matter? I mean I could make a poll saying Nexon should give everyone free Frenzy Totems and it'd probably get majority vote in favor. >.>

Unfortunately, it was not mentioned officially but it's today!!!
Well, nobody knows what plans are going to be about an event for this special period of time of the game. All we can do is to wait and see.
