Game crash during first ARK boss

So as soon as I get to a part where I guess a cutscene is supposed to happen the game shows a white screen then nothing. I've tried waiting and restarting my computer but nope! Still stuck. Anyone else having this problem?

    Repairing the installation and updating my drivers didn't do diddly either. I am truly stuck now.

    Haven't been on MS for 4 years, decided to try the new character and I get a white screen as well on the first boss. Is there a way to skip the boss entirely?

    Yeah I'm having the same issue. Had the issue on the cutscene before the boss battle as well, but restarting the game got me past that cutscene, can't do the same with the one mid-boss though.

    Pressing esc got me through somehow. Anyone else?

    Pressing esc skips the cut screen allowing you to pass the cut screen and go on.
