No one wants to party que with Magnus. I'm too much of a loser/noob to beat this guy. I've watched guide videos on how to beat him and tried a bunch of times but I still couldn't win. I had no idea this game was not very casual/noob friendly. Is Maplestory 2 like that? How do you people ask for help in this game? Is there a crowded place in the game where I can beg for help? Would it be helpful if we have something similar to that mail thing that pops up every now and then to invite players to join a quiz but this time it's about bringing people together to beat a boss and people who accepted the invitation will get to keep all the loot, mesos and exp if the boss dies then half the exp the help-begging loser gains in the next 2 hours will go to the helpers? It would be nice being able to see different skill animations because that rarely happens. Or can I just pay like 25 bucks to get the 5th job skills? I'm willing to do that because this game gave many people reasons not to kill themselves.

Easy Magnus Simulator counts towards the clear. Do it instead.
If you somehow can't even clear that, work on your gear.

Try finding an active guild with an alliance and ask them for help with the kill. Lot of folks can kill normal magnus in seconds. If guild/alliance is not helpful, you could beg for help in henesys ch 1. Usually plenty of folks there in any server. To solo normal magnus, i personally needed 500-600k unbuffed range (the number listed as damage in your stats). Easy magnus (the magnus simulator) requires a lot less range. Somewhere between 100-200k should be enough. You can find him in the tent in the Reclamation HQ. Easy magnus can NOT be found in the castle. Both easy and normal should count for the 5th job requirement.

This game is not very noob friendly. It can be quite overwhelming at first and making yourself stronger is a slow and difficult process. Now that you've reached lvl 200 is basically when the real game begins. My advice is to take it one step at a time and don't be afraid to ask questions or google information. Having a helpful guild/alliance is recommended. Many guilds do daily and weekly boss runs and carries as well.

    Good luck!
