No visual effect for Illium and Aran's burst stage

I used to play this two jobs and when Illium's elder crystal reached 150 stacks or Aran reached 1000 combo , there were flashy visual effects on the edge of the screen but when I picked up this 2 jobs again last week, I didn't see thing when the conditions fulfilled. All visual effects for this 2 jobs disappeared, also along with the notification down there when quests accomplished, like ... whenever any quest accomplished, no notification pop up at all.

I'm not sure if that's a new change from whichever patch or it's a problem of my computer. If that's my computer's issue, does anyone know how to fix it?

    Hmm, maybe make a bug report? Not sure about the stacks/combo effect, but for the quest completion notification, does it not pop up for your other jobs? If it doesn't, then it might be something on your end, and if it does, then it's a problem with the classes (though I'm assuming since no one else has made a bug report for those classes specific, leaning towards problem on your end).

    This might be a case of those memory leak issues that pop up - did you try these skills after playing MS/having your computer on for a long period of time ? I just did Aran and Illium in dojo 4 days ago and both Adrenaline Rush and Wings of Glory worked properly with the edge of screen effects.

    As for the quest notifications not popping up, that really leads me to believe that it could be a memory leak. Do a full shutdown of your computer and that should hopefully fix the problem. =)

    absence of quests notification happens to all characters so I assume it's a problem on my end as well, but I don't know what it is and how to fix it :(

    I can't speak for Aran, but my Illium has also not been getting the screen effect for a while now and I've restarted my computer at least twice in the past few weeks.

    Just wanted to update that the screen effects show up for me now with this newest patch.
