Does it work with zero? Is there any indicator of the link skill working like an icon at the top right corner?

    It works with all characters, and it just happens if a monster is a lower level than you. I did some minor tests in Lachelein when i was that level and there is just a damage difference.

    No, there is no icon/indication that you're getting the extra damage. As a Fire/Poison Mage, I'm sure that I would have seen it throughout my times training/bossing. =P
