Won't launch a second time without restarting PC

For a while now when I was trying to launch the game after previously closing it, the PLAY button will gray out, it will say "Currently in-game" for a few seconds and then it would turn blue again, meaning I can launch the game only once. If I want to launch it a second time, I have to restart my computer.
I also noticed that the Nexon Game Security was still running after I closed the game. I forcibly stopped it, but the problem remained so that doesn't seem to be the issue.

Is there any way to fix this? I don't want to constantly restart my computer every time I want to log in.
