Just lost another Override box because of the Inferno Den disconnect bug. Hope they fix it I hate losing boxes u3u

Started playing in 2005 and left twice when Miracle Cubes proceeded to ruin the game. Returned December 2024 as a curiosity and was pleased with the state of affairs enough to become active again. Used to operate MapleDictionary as a catalog of tbe game's unique lingo.
This has happened three times now. I go to join, choose a boat, and all that loads is the field and sound effects, nothing else. Have to force quit the game, relog, wait 10 minutes to try again, and am then told to accept the Start the Homecoming Mission quest before I can join. My laptop is running a 14-gen i9 with 32GB of memory, I'm pretty sure it isn't me.
Potential is what honestly did this game in. It officially secured the "pay-to-win" formula to the wealthiest of players and makes it almost impossible for new ones to get anywhere unless they burn their wallet or get funded. Bosses that used to take entire parties to slay can be soloed, a player with enough potential can do over 100 million damage... heck Lucid has 10 trillion something HP. That alone says something.
Could be a DDoS, MapleSea reported one couple days ago. My guild suspected the lag from yesterday was due to the x2 event in Reboot. Funny how this update is called Tune Up. More like Turn Down amirite?
