If you've left your computer in a public setting unattended, the chances that the stranger even knows what things do in the game is questionable...
Moreso who leaves their computers left unattended?

I'd also like to point out that the game is over 16GB of data. Who in North America would go to an internet cafe and download 16GB just to play Maplestory?
It's ridiculous.

There is absolutely NO reason for the pic to be on the storage at all.

when they added pics to nodes I was upset at first but then got over it. I still think it's absolutely stupid and not needed but the reason I got over it was because I don't need to craft/edit nodes constantly like I need to access storage. For the most part, it was entering my pin 4-5 times at the set up of each mule I did. The storage I constantly need to access, having the pin on it is very pointless.

By reading your post I can tell that you're trying to soften this matter.

Why are there always a few people like you who are always on Nexon's side? he's definitely right.
I also find it really annoying because it's not just "a couple more clicks", it's a couple more clicks that we must do 100 times every single day.... I also quit because of this change.
Even if it's "just a couple more clicks", once you have to do it a lot of times everyday, it's became really painful and extremely annoying.

There is really no need to soften this extremely important matter at all.

Oh, I am definitely not always on Nexon's side. But throwing a tantrum and saying it has DEFEATED him and torn all the desire to play out of him is absolutely an overreaction to something as small as this.
Again, you choose which hill you want to die on. I think you're just going to have to get over it, like everyone else. The pin exists to protect players items if they are on a public or shared computer (more commonly net cafes in kms).

"you want to die on", first of all, quitting isn't a horrible "die" as you trying to picture.

to be honest, nexon can easily stay with that bank pic thingy but they're totally going to lose some players and guess what? I am one of them.

Choosing a hill to die on is an idiom, similar meaning to picking your battles wisely. As in; if you think this incredibly small issue by comparison is worth quitting over, then that is the very small and insignificant hill you've chosen you die on, figuratively. That's the basket you've put all your eggs in, etc etc
I'm saying you should prioritize better and react proportionally.

it's such a stupid change to the game that has no good reason at all...

When they added the pic system to the node NPC guy, it was very annoying at first, they added it for a reason, I believe, to prevent hackers from deleting your nodes or whatever.
As HerptheDerp pointed out it's still kinda pointless to have it in-game because as soon as they got on your account they can easily reset the pic.

Now they've added it to the storage, and god knows what else...since I can't log on the game is so buggy.
I can get used to the new keyboard and forcibly changing my pic to something I'll probably forget next week to the point where I have to reset and go through senseless steps to reset it.
However, adding pic to the storage isn't just stupid...it's moronic.
If nexon is going to add it to the storage just add it to every vendor in the game as well.
Adding pic to storage just hinders players more than it helps us-as now everytime I want to grab something really quick or try to find something I'll have to put in my pic when I don't need to.
I don't recall this ever being an issue for GMS so why was it ported over from KMS in the first place?

As someone who relogs on his mules quite frequently, this is a huge dissapointment for me.
If nexon really wants to get rid of botters they should just make an account cost $5 a month for use; or even $5 to access trading functions.

I was wondering if nexon can take a look at the chance rates for cube lines.
I feel like % all stats lines are near non-existent now...
in all Reds, Blacks, and meisters, it seems like I get A all stats line in about 10-25 rolls, and usually, it's 6%.
after about 100 cubes on a scarlet shoulder, I've gotten one 9% line twice...
cubing never used to be this bad, and it makes me sad that rolling 21% STR/DEX/LUK/INT seems to happen every 20-25 cubes...
I main xenon, so it's nearly impossible for me to upgrade gear when I can't even get the lines to roll.
I'm getting upset that I spend money on this game and I blow 50k nx on nothing useless.
I know for sure that cubing did not use to be this bad rng.
I've also seen that cubes tend to have a lot of %hp/mp and % chance to do x lines now, which never seemed to be the case.

I'm asking that nexon please look again at the code to see if something is broken, as it's been this way for a little while, and I can't progress and my friends are leaving me for harder bosses now ._.

all I get over and over is a 1L of STR/DEX/LUK/INT, then pretty much a 90% chance there's a % chance to do X line, and like 70% chance, there's a %hp/% Mp line.
the % chance to do X shouldn't even be in the legendary pots pool. The Hp recovery items and skills line aren't very useful at all since everyone is using % hp-based potions.

This game only caters to whales who spend a ridiculous amount of money on it.
Why this game expects you to spend 600 dollars a month when other games such as world of warcraft charge only 15 dollars and month and you can get everything you need in the game.

Another major flaw is, all the meso you need to upgrade, you are forced to get it from someone, or merch stuff in auction house, since the 10m 5 hours of grinding will barely pay for 1-5 star force.
