In reference to a previous post,

Bug type: Functionality
Description:
The two bugs that I have addressed within the referenced list were
[4th Job] The hyper skill 'Starforce Salvo - Range' does not increase the range of the skill 'Strikeforce Showdown', making this hyper skill less desirable to use
and
[5th Job] The skill 'Gravity Crush' final AoE damage doesn't increase when you and/or allies attack monsters inside the singularity
[5th Job] The skill 'Gravity Crush' would be too much limited by the current damage cap if the final AoE damage would be fixed and deal at maximum 30000% damage per line

It appears that ‘Strikeforce Showdown’ does seem to be activating from the increased range gained through ‘Strikeforce Salvo - Range’ because the sound effect can be heard, however there is no actual damage output occurring. I tested this by attacking with 'Strikeforce Salvo' as far as I could with and without the hyper skill. At the shorter range (without the hyper skill), 'Strikeforce Showdown' does activate, however with the increased range, it does not fully activate. I do believe that the quoted bug by SummerMist may have been somewhat vague though it still does bring forth the issue relating to said skills.

I have also tested this alone and with party members on a dummy. There are very minimal changes in total damage output between being in a party and doing it alone once the AoE attack activates.
I conducted a battle analysis to demonstrate the very minimal differences in total damage. This first image was tested with only myself activating the skill and letting it detonate on its own.
Comparatively, this second battle analysis had 2 other party members, both of which attacked constantly with significantly higher damage than myself for the duration of the skill.
Using the values of the accumulated damage from both analysis', there was only a small increase of 5% between both scenarios. This does not follow with what the skill description says at level one;
"Level 1: MP Cost: 1000, Draw in up to 8 enemies in range, stunning them, and creates a singularity which periodically deals 500% damage. Singularity Duration: 10 sec. When the skill duration ends or the skill is used again, the singularity explodes dealing 660% AoE damage over a large range.
The damage of the AoE attack can increase up to 20400% based on the damage inflicted by allies while the enemy is withing the Singularity. Cooldown: 120 sec."
The factors to the 5% increase could only have been caused by the range of my character. Party members attacking the dummy whilst 'withing in the Singularity' does not increase the explosion damage.
