I have to agree with the others.
Burning events are useful to quickly level up a class you don't intend to play much after reaching lv150, like a Link Skill mule or a boring class for your Legion.
It's also kinda useful to try out a couple of new classes because there's no penalty in deleting it and creating a new Burned character.
And besides, leveling up is already made as easy as it can get even without a Burning Event. It's just a convenient shortcut for boring or slow to level up classes. Nothing more than that. And if you really like a class you should have no problem leveling it up the normal way.

You shouldn't forget that a significant part of Bera's current population only returned to Maplestory for this transfer event and will quit the game again within 1-2 months when the hype slowly fades away.

A merge with Bera would be the dumbest thing because the people you'd be merging are the few people who specifically chose NOT to move to Bera.

I'm actually more afraid they haven't posted a notice yet because they're doing something controversial and don't want the forums to burn down.
At least the banner is up telling us when they expect to be done.

You just took Grazed down for 5 hours and you're telling me there's another maintenance right after?! There better be a fix this time.
