This is actually the wrong direction. Reboot is supposed to be self-contained progression. That means it's time to convert the "storage" into a personal bank only for that individual character.
This would also be funny to see. And I'd wager the only reason it wasn't like this from the start was some limitation in the game's code that makes storage an all-or-nothing with no regard for the world it's on.(less)
plus it would open up exploits for dooping similar to the bit boxes system from years ago

In a normal game getting stronger and improving gear is the usual progression. If that's all this was there would be no reason to complain. Instead it's a fresh cash grab from the company that never fails to nerf their player's free progression.
Why are you even complaining about the inability to progress toward end game for free in a pay 2 win game? You should know by now that free progression is only free up to a point and that gears get reset every so often.
Instead of throwing shade at Reboot for avoiding these 'cash grabs', go join them. (less)
