This is very sudden news, and the timing is extremely off considering what Michael just started (a contest or two, sticking around after a major patch to, ya know, do his job of managing us).

To me it definitely seems as if this was personal for Michael. Something came up in his life and all of a sudden he was just no longer capable of continuing to live and work in California.

* Fix codex drops permanently (including familiar cards. I was at big spiders for an hour today and saw not a single familiar card drop, on a lvl appropriate evan)

* Fix the problem where it displays each card twice

* Introduce ways to obtain all Codex cards from mobs in the codex that are no longer in the game. It could be as simple as talking to the Maple Admin and she unlocks all of them in the codex automatically (this would be ideal), or it could be more difficult as long as they are made available.

* Buff the bonus stats from the Codex. Seriously, as you level it up you get a grand total of +8 All stats (and I think newer players can't even hit level 8 codex anymore, not sure). It should be +1% stat per codex level at the very least

* Ideally bring over JMS's version of the codex

* Regardless of bringing over the JMS version or not, update the code behind the Codex such that it is dynamically updated as you update mob data (eg health, experience, location, drops etc....). This will make it so much easier on you guys to keep up with it because you wouldn't have to do anything anymore.

Well, not 5th job binds. If you're a Hayato with CD-cutter Hitokiri Strike, it's then a race to push Arky to 1 corner of the map or the other and then spam the everloving hell out of Hitokiri until ded.

Its sad that people have come to rely on bugged attacks and what is almost an exploit of a skill to kill this boss just to get around his mechanics

I'm with you OP, I don't understand the appeal of Reboot. Maplestory was never about high numbers on my screen, and I cannot justify leaving my guild and just abandoning everything in Windia that I spent years to build up

I was referring to the public. Add a test server available to the public through invitation.

We had one, but our ever so lovely community used it to look for exploits. Instead of reporting bugs, they would spend all of their time figuring out how to exploit them, keep mum, and then abuse them to hell and back when the patch went live.

We no longer have a test server because people in this community are so awful human beings
