    We also want you to know that all players that we find suspended as a result of the issue with Waters Wars, will be released shortly. We'll need time to gather all the information, so please bear with us while we gather information for all the players affected. In addition, this suspension will not affect your ban history or your placement on the rankings.

    If you find your character released from suspension before the issue is resolved, please be sure to avoid this event while we continue to investigate.

    Awesome, thank you so much. My affected character just got released and I'm incredibly grateful that this won't be incorrectly added to my clean record.

    Has it? because the message I had received had said that I was "...your account had been blocked..." But regardless, Thank you for clearing up the issue.

    When I spoke to a chat person dude/lady, she said that my account had been suspended for suspicious activity. Made a comment about the disconnect/account suspension on the r/MapleStory about this under the same username. " I was assigned Team Cygnus and got disconnected after farming a couple of AFK's in Henesys with the upgraded basic weapon. The points seemed to be accumulating normally but just some information to help figure out what people are even getting banned for."

    Its great you guys got to this as fast as you could....but to be honest the live chats were horrible you have GM's accusing us and telling us it's our faults for being banned in the 1st place? It wasn't very helpful or a pleasant experience at all. It's one thing to know if you did something wrong but to be wrongfully accused then to go and try to seek out help from GM's only to be shut down and left confused even more is kinda ridiculous and just unfair to your player base...I'm not the only one who had to go through this I'm sure either

    It's really not good that people are complaining about GMs in Live Chat accusing them for wrongdoing that was not done in actuality.
    Do they simply base a response for a ban based on what the ban message says? It appears as if they don't even look at the logs to find the actual cause of the issue.

    If this issue wasn't as widespread as it is, some innocent player would have most likely been forced to wait out the entire suspension. And this has in fact happened before.

    I was just doing the thing and and stopped to listen this guy who was warning me,
    but right before I could check the forums to confirm I was Suspended...

    I'm wondering if this issue will be resolved before the Water War for today ends.
    Why? I heard you need 150k pts to receive the water war skill reward for the perm skill, and a little less than 140k pts is still needed. In other words, no other days during the event can be missed.
    Hopefully the event will at least be extended by the numbers of day this ban problem persists for.

    Also, I noticed the the problem about how you cannot join a team because the reward has not been claim still continues to persist.

    I just find it funny how a 4 year old account with no offenses just got slammed with a ban. I thought it was my computer being wonky but after restarting and trying to log in for the 6th time I realized it wasn't on my end.

    1 month ban... made a ticket after contacting support. im so limited with play time as is. i hope im unbanned soon

    I took the warning for Water Wars as a joke because I didn't think that I'll get banned. Now here I am (((': - My ban doesn't lift until a month from today at 1:36 PM PDT.

    I'm just trying to figure out how people are getting banned by mistake due to the event? I would understand like a glitch to where to disconnect, but being banned? I don't know it just sounds weird lol.
