Nexon is it so hard to ban hackers / spammers???

[Note, I'm in Luna]

Currently the rate of hackers overtaking the maps is OUTRAGEOUS
Mostly Blaze Wizard due to the naturally easy exploit of their skill coding I assume.
And Nexon is not doing anything about it?

They are virtually EVERYWHERE, yesterday I see ONE in EVERY CHANNEL the Colossus map area. 90% of them have irregular ign like dfllysilosll, certainly NOT "Innocent players", more like deliberate CRIMINALS.

Before at least we have some GM (albeit most of them are not loved, they respond well to hacker reports)

Technically how hard can it be? There seems to be NOT a SINGLE GM on the job patrolling the game.
Friends and many others has been reporting over hundreds of them and to no avail.

I can imagine it as an extremely easy job, either just one specialised GM (part time) with a help from a group of volunteers (with reputation) cruising through maps suspect-able for exploit, report and issue ban instantly. If Nexon is not capable of making a potent anti-hacking defence, at least serious invigilation can deter most of them?

If this kind of trend is not controlled, MS is becoming hacker's heaven, no matter how you advertise your NX sale.

Aside from hackers, numbers of spammers (meso-selling) also soar in fm, before merge usually around 2, now like 6-8, plus many in major towns.
You can just walk right in the game and catch some hackers and spammers in ONE Minute.
Even a child can do it, why cant Nexon assign any RESPONSIBLE GM TO HAMMERING DOWN CRIMINALS?

They don't seem to care, I've reported this guy
    -Removed-
For the last 2 weeks with proof and he's kept hacking and leveling

The live chat doesn't seem to care and keep giving the same "I've passed this on" message every time and tickets would be closed. Honestly I think just love the hackers at this point and would rather ban legit players for no reason.

It's sad when you guys bug a player because of Frederick and then block them for 2 days before even banning a hacker

And what people think about such post? the same thing

"Nexon already know this, you think they don't?"
    "They don't care"
"Aka nothing is going to happen"

So we are all dead in the water? Yeah nobody care, Nexon won't care, the utmost priority is profit. Hacker profit from hacking, at the end players suffer
but really? basic Consumer psychology: increase your Customer Happiness can GREATLY IMPROVE THEIR WILLINGNESS TO DONATE MONEY to you

Now you know what GMS has had to deal with for the longest time. I really feel bad for you guys who came from EMS. We wish we had your old GMs. It can take weeks to months to get a single person banned and by then they would have hit 250 or simply not be botting or hacking anymore. It really is a sad state.

The solution is fairly simple but nothing gets done.

it seems some players dont even know the numbers behind the scenes
am not here to defend anyone but the ban hammer its delivered around 10k~ish times per week the few active are trying
    while others are... {data expunged}
if anyone has the ability of helping them please do... instead of complaining about it

    1. These are not hackers. At worst, they are botters, but mostly they are script-kiddies. Hackers would have us losing accounts more than losing maps.
    2. Sadly, the number of botters/script kiddies you see here is how it's been for years.

However, the problem to address is not reporting the botters. It's actually pretty easy to check and ban a botter. The hard part is being able to control the number of accounts used to bot. Specifically, bot accounts are too easy to make.

maybe that "ban" hammer trigers on wrong places and wrong users ... while a same guy uses smega(promote his sale business) for 2weeks allready 10times a day and still ingame ...

they can get this working on them instead of me and few others that has a pot line that bugs and trigers this
    image

as luna player we need atleast 1 gm or you name it
    that can clear this botters-spammers 1-3 a day(for 5-10min each session)

You have never been able to. When the code of conduct was moved over, it missed the naming-shaming rule, although it was still on the books (I have enforced and reiterated it several times). The subreddit does not allow it either (they refer to it as "witch-hunting").

We do not allow it because people have, frankly, lied and faked evidence to get people banned. Moreover, we have official channels to report botters, and the forums are not that place. Accusing someone of hacking/scamming/harassment is a big claim, and wildly open to abuse, misunderstandings, and other problems.

You're free to complain about bots, but naming specific players is not allowed.

You do know that your "official channels" do absolutely nothing when people report hackers and spammers, right?

You do know that botters aren't banned immediately, but observed first for evidence of illegal activity before a ban? As I said before, the rate in which bots are banned are irrelevant to the botter problem as a whole. What does matter is the rate in which new accounts are made. The moment you cut the source of these bots is the moment the number of visible bots will fall like a lead weight in still water.

Yeah sure they remove around 10k a week most of which are gold spammers and low to mid level hackers and gold farmers. Do you know how many gold spammers come to fm on a daily basis? Hundreds. Take that and multiply it across all servers and then multiply it across an entire week. You have a large majority of that number which are gold spammers banned mostly.

I've known this for a long long time. This is why my countless reports on player botters and hackers never get looked into or banned. Guess what. I have about 8 ongoing hackers and botters i have reported none of which have been banned. Guess when they were reported? Up to 3 months ago. Since then nothing has been done despite follow up reports and those botters have gotten far closer to 250. I actually think they're going to make it.

This is the garbage we have to deal with. It's very easy for one of them to go and catch these guys but 3 months has gone past and nothing has been done. They literally go at it all day too. It's just a sad state of affairs. I already make their job 1000x easier with my reports and clearly explain what is going on, when to look and explain in detail how the offender is macroing and if they still can't do anything after that it's a lost cause.

They don't observe anything, people on banned lists are still in game, I've sent a bunch of videos providing clear evidence to them via ticket and live chat. Not a single one has been viewed.. It's been since merge and I've reported the same hacker constantly with new evidence but clearly support would rather close tickets and be ignorant

This whole situation is a downgrade from the service ems provided from forum options to support

I don't know how you define “Botters”, maybe subjectively everyone has his own moral standard.

By conventional meaning, a botter's intention is to level up without any effort, thus most of them (play safe) use Macro program (automatic key press), which does not break into the game cold. Or some of them pay for service (legal or not), still on the purpose of level up effortlessly.

On the other hand, those person I mentioned who uses illegal problem that's capable of tempering with the game code, are literally hackers because the program they use is called hacking program (incl. package). SPECIFICALLY, they all use irregular, blatantly IGN which indicate they are hackers.

Would a kiddies bother registering hundreds of accounts with random IGN like asdlkjgipaeg or wepoitopuepitui? NO? Clearly those IGNs are SACRIFICIAL.
The purpose is LOUD AND CLEAR: Hacking in to the game and make profit from it before its banned. (all of those WZ has auto-collect hack as well)
Yes there are people who hack into other's account, but that's just one of the way criminal make profit.

Are you serious? the problem is not reporting the "Botters"?? They are no longer botters, they are organized crime and profiting from the game which Nexon themselves will not be happy if they are truly a company knowing how to control and develop healthy in game economy and generate incomes. (A good example is CCP)

If it's pretty easy to ban the botter, why are they not banned? control the number of accounts? if Nexon has smart people (I'm sure they do) and stern management I'm sure they can brain storm hundreds of solutions in a day (99% hackers are WZ, criminals with mass accounts using irregular IGNs, enough hints here), the problem is who gonna implement it, and will they.

you may think they don't care, but what can they do when someone can make a bot that sets up hundreds of junk accounts and Emails in a matter of minutes?
sure you can look at the IGN and say "yep that's a bot" due to it having a seemingly random set of letters and numbers, at the same time, they may just be a legit player who didn't want to bother running though a list of names to find one they liked.
playing on the Reboot server me self i cant say i ever seen any hackers or botters at all(and with good reason too!).

now im not going to say that Nexon is guilt free, but one thing i know; its a losing battle. botters and hackers are more then willing to pay monthly fees to bot and scam on other MMO's, and even if they get banned, they will come back because people fall for the scams, and create a market for them. where there's easy money to be made, you can bet your rump roast that scammers are gonna be there.

please instead of this how about giving a suggestion that actually helps them to stop the botting uh? that might help more
