Lag when picking up items

Character name: Jaquist, EvaKerzakse (it seems to be all of my characters)
Character level: 105, 120, varies after
Character job: Phantom, Mechanic
World name: Scania
Date and time of the incident: 11:00 PM CST
(mention your time zone if you aren't posting Pacific time)

Every time I pick up an item, I notice that I have a delay where I have to press my pick up button about 5 times before it will pick the item up.

    Have you tried resetting your router?
