Greetings Maplers,

Due to a bug with the most recent patch, players were receiving an abnormal amount of experience dependent on the number of buffs players had active. To prevent the abuse of this bug, the servers will be down until the bug has been resolved.

We'll be sure to keep everyone updated with this additional unscheduled maintenance.

    Looking for a change in the Re:zero boxes...

    The chance of getting one of those 8 items is just the same as getting a frenzy.

    or even being able to fly to the moon without a spaceship

    it's 50 non-content items vs 8 (only the 2 medals are useful while everything else is just... there)

    Changing the features of the boxes would be difficult now, and their priority is fixing this exp bug.

    so was the "buff bonus" a bug, accidentally added in with the patch or was it added intentionally but the exp gains got bugged or gave more exp than expected? is it mr. lee's airlines all over again?

    I only had 7 buffs going... 8 if I count Echo... 9 for Concentration... Max I was getting was 4x when I tabbed it up. EXP was nice, but not exactly great. After you hit 205 it really doesn't matter, it's going to be a grind.

    @Arwoo do you think that there will be a roll-back of the exp gained since the patch? Or will the bug be addressed and the game will progress from where it was?

    No idea... but lets hope its less than 2 hours.Though honestly it would be a better idea to use Server-Tespia to diagnose the bug first, while at least letting people stay on, then once Tespia is fixed, then pull the servers, roll out the patch, and then bring the game online.
