    Well for my first entry I have Cadena, I thought this place is perfect as her vibe, which I think, is thuggish and carefree. And well, the reason why you can buy bicycles for 10 euros is because most of them are stolen :D

    And when I did this, the paper FLEW all over the place because of the wind, so now I've done some preparation for when I'm going to take the Illium picture :)

    Hey,

    This is the first time I'm participating in a Maplestory contest, so please, if there is anything in my image(s) that would disqualify me, let me know :).
    Also @Arwoo, by real-world setting do you mean we have to actually take the paper variant into the world or can we add a real world setting to the cut-out in paint or w/e as well? As I see a lot of them being made in photoshop and such and very few in the real world.

    Illium:
    I figured since Illium is a magician, he needs some form of magical background. Considering it also had to be realistic I chose the crystal caves in Iceland as my setting. They look beautiful, magical and fit with my idea of Illium.

    Cadena:
    Since Cadena is a thief (in training) with the shadowmerchants Cadena has to start out somewhere right? Well today I caught Cadena trying to unlock/steal my bicycle. Got to start somewhere when you want to defeat magnus some day right?
    EDIT: My bicycle actually got stolen.... Cadena, please bring it back.

    can you pull up a picture and on your monitor and put your cutout in front of the monitor? It's not photoshop.

    unfortunately i don't have a printer, so couldn't print it in color. couldn't think of what to do for this so i was like i have a plasma ball in the living room and illium is a light user of some sort so why not as he faces a group of eagles
    was actually hard to take this picture on phone, especially when i couldn't find a 12v ac adapter for the plasma ball.dEVAgz4.jpg

    Now, this picture has a story to it. The Ginkgo Tree is the ONLY surviving species of Ginkgoales (kinda like how the Verdant Flora were almost wiped out?) This particular Ginkgo tree happens to be between the Chemistry Building and Biology (Chemistry Building mainly being for Chemical Engineers, Illium is an engineer) of my University. So I felt this location was perfect for Illium. He also looked really cute "holding" the leaf.
