how do you pronounce "Arce" in spanish (Maple)

So info on the last Grandis hero (assuming) came out and it's named Esfera. And so I decided to check what "Maple" is in Spanish.

so here's my theory depending on how Arce is pronounced, and then how it would be pronounced with a Korean accent. but it's a REEEEEEEEEEEAL stretch.

    yeah google says arce = maple but also arca which means ark in spanish
    as for esfera it means, sphere, realm, clock, province etc so if it is a job then it may either use a spherical weapon or something within the theme

    In Spanish, "arce" is pronounced "ar-say"

    However, the KMS update is spelled "Ark", and it's not necessarily Spanish (since the last Area, Morass, was based off an old English word). My bet is on it being a literal ark.

    just gona point out Illium and Ark are Lef /Flora race (lef and High lef respectively) and not part of the nova race

    by the way "arce" is not pronounced "ar-say" unless youre trying to change the spanish pronunciation into english like most americans do
    oh what gives... ill tell you regardless actually in spanish you are not limited to one pronunciation for example
    arce = arce / arce = arke / arce = arqe / arce = arque just to show a few examples
    also the letter "e" sound its not "ay" its "e" like "he" or "hello"
    gosh obtuseness like this should be enough to rescind... then again am neutral~

    In Spanish, "c" is pronounced softly when written as "ce". "Say" may not be the most accurate transliteration, but it's close.

    Castilian (European) pronunciation: /ˈaɾθe/
    Latin-American pronunciation: /ˈarse/
    Your specific pronunciation of the soft "c" might be slightly different depending whether you're using Latin-American Spanish or European Spanish, but neither of them have a hard "c" sound.


    "He" and "Hello" are pronounced very differently. If anything it would be pronounced like the "e" in "hello", but definitely not the "e" in "he".
    "He" is pronounced /hi/, whereas "hello" is pronounced /həˈləʊ̯/, or more simply, "he" has a long "e" sound and "hello" has a short "e" sound.
    "Hee" as opposed to "Hell oh"
