Lab Server - Death = Job Loss

I've started my foray into the lab server and have immediately been pwned by the monsters. However, when I respawn, I'm no longer a class and cannot choose a class anymore. I still have my Magician skillbook, but it shows I'm a Beginner in the AP window, and Grendel no longer allows me to choose to become a Magician. When I died again, I lost the Magician skillbook, but still can't choose a class.

Not sure if I'm missing something...?

[EDIT] I now see there's a separate NPC in Henesys that lets you choose your job again. Quite confusing... lol.

    That's how you were supposed to choose your class in the first place though...

    Nope, mine told me to go to Ellinia and speak to Grendel lol.

    There was nothing talking about the NPC that gives the job over and over again. So if you walked past the NPC and didn't notice you wouldn't had known.
