Maple News causing massive FPS drop

Bug type: Gameplay

Brief bug summary:
When the maple new window is on (when logging in or opened up by a button, FPS drop from 60 to 1-5.


When using the steam version of maple Story and when maple news is open, the game is constantly writing to VRAM (graphic card RAM), which is why the fps drop is occurring only when maple news is open. (How much fps drops depends on the strength of your graphic card)



Steps to reproduce:
Open the maple news by logging in or through the button.

Character name: Rexaar2
Character level: 251
Character job: Hero
World name: Scania

    Not sure if it's related or separate, but you can't close out of Maple News with "esc" upon logging in now. (Like if you clicked esc upon logging in, it would close the Maple News, but now you have to click on it and then esc for it to close.)

    This no longer occurs on the Nexon Launcher version.
    This still occurs on the Steam version.

    Nothing happens when VRAM is full as it is now overwriting the oldest junk data.
    Sort of a VRAM memory leak but not exactly, as it remain full after Maple Story is closed. But other graphic extensive programs can easily steal back the VRAM since it all unused old data.



    This also affect in-game cut scene that play a video from youtube, so it is the in-game browser that causing this bug.

    VRAM bug is fixed.
    FPS bug still occur.

    same problem since the event wondroid this problem back again low fps . lags spikes , freezes , gameguard , emergency maintenance did not fix this

    hold esc after login

    also it wont get fixed was like this for long time and its best to not touch/make it worse
    we can chek the news on site or in launcher before login if we want so its better to get removed or esc hold it
