I think that Nexon's intention with the rune changes is to use every rune that you create and not leave it around for others to use. There's no other way to justify the cursed rune effect.

Hieizan Temple is definitely JMS content, so we'll likely get little say in its changes.
Also do the Hieizan Dungeon quests still exist? I remember on the main servers I couldn't complete them due to the changes made in Mushroom Shrine.
Don't the tutorial levels teach you core gameplay mechanics? Assuming new players actually attempt to learn the game and don't skip those quests.
