I don't know how it is in reboot, but in Bera, at least, Singapore is a hacker-infested dump that legit players avoid. Walk through every single map on every channel, there is a hacker. It's an absolute trash heap.
Another idea that may at least slow hackers down - either have a log-in code texted to a cell phone (and only 1 number can be registered and the same number can't register more than once) or have a code sent to email. Just a thought.

I had a huge issue with hackers during 2x as well. I got pushed off my maps quite a few times, and some areas there was no finding an open map at all. Either a legit player was using it or it was brimming with hackers. Even maps people hate to grind…
