For the first bit though, you have a room before the boss where you can fully prepare and buff before going in, making the first hit reach unnecessary. It works in FFXIV because you are placed in the boss room from whenever you were before and without any preparation room beforehand.
That doesn't help with people who have potato computers and take a literal minute or so to load the screen, especially with a party full of people who are spamming their flashy skills. Before I bought my new PC I had to factor in a death per phase for Lucid because I would not load the screen before I was already dead, essentially making me run with 8 lives per attempt. Going into Lotus p1 was a guaranteed death as the laser would pass through me before I could load, and many other bosses have punishing mechanics that screw people over like that.
It would be something very simple to implement and wouldn't really affect anything in any meaningful way. (less)
If the shop were to restock, I would imagine that something around a once per month restock limit would be fair considering how powerful these items are. I don't think a daily or even … (more)weekly restock would be appropriate. (less)
*Dark Lords of Darkness is 6 days instead of 2 weeks like it usually is despite being one of the most requested events, and one of the most dependent on luck.
Not only that...but it can only be done once a day per character (even though they are untradable)...so that gives you 6 tries to get 3 totems for you class out of the 16 different totems.
That's normal, it's never been multiple times per character. Also you get ten per completion, so 60 tries instead of your claim of 6.(less)
I think people are conflating 1 time per char = 1 reward per char, but they are forgetting, as you've said, that the 1 reward is 10 attempts. However, the fact that the event has been slashed from 2-3 weeks to 6 days is just downright insulting.

I cannot hear the xylophone sounds. Can you add literally anything to help me? Colors, shaking movements, small flowers?
Unfortunately I can tell you right now nothing is going to be changed about this event. It is copy/pasted from kMS, and as such, they cannot, will not, and most probably do not know how to make any changes like that. It is an unfortunate reality but I figured you'd rather know straight up then try and feed you the same kind of hopeful BS that Nexon tries to give to us all the time. (less)
