The problem is that a lot of players have seemed to drop the game, and many who were left seemed to all kind of move to Bera. The game has a high population of bots, hackers, and spammers and the lack of anything being done about it deters a lot of players.
Unlike the burning events, this item was a consumable potion, so it didn't work the same way. From what I've read though, the potion is also glitched, and instead of lasting 7 days like it's supposed to, it expires when you log off.
