The Nexon launcher is garbage. Never have I had to re-install the game so many times even though the pathway for the folder is correct. I've done all methods people have suggested to try avoid having to re-download it but it still happens. The worst part about it is that it doesn't always happen. Sometimes it will patch fine and other times it wont so I can't tell what the trigger is. I'm on Windows 10 also.

I don't understand why we moved from the game launcher in the Maplestory folder to this Nexon launcher which has so many issues tied to it. I never had any issues with the game launcher. I've probably downloaded 100gig+ re-downloading the game over and over. I'm surprised despite so many people having issues with it they haven't scrapped it for the time being. Bring back the game launcher because at least that actually works 99% of the time.

After looking into this a bit more it looks like it might be a mass attempt by hackers/botters trying to get unbanned. I've seen a lot of dodgy stuff from people especially on reboot going on about how they are training with kanna. Like spamming the teleport skill to grind.... Reminds me of how botting Demon slayers used to train and probably still do the same thing.

You also have many people coming out who are still playing Kanna and even attempting to get banned in every way possible and they haven't been able to do it.

Nothing wrong with having more though. There's really no reason to vote no. Plus, these cubes are great for cubing mule gear for legion.

25-30k was years ago. Obviously not anymore but the numbers on the site clearly showed that until Nexon decided to change things so people couldn't see population numbers.

The fact we had those numbers years ago in NA back before EU mergers with far less servers than KMS makes 60k far more believable. It could even be more tbh since around the same time NA had 25-30k average KMS had 150k+. This is the average number of people online at any given time btw, not the total number of people that actually play the game.

You have to understand Maplestory is one of the most played MMOs there. Not only that, videos from popular Maple vid creators get well over 100k-300k views over there. Their streams on Afreeca get a lot more too compared to our most popular Twitch streamers for Maple. This year Maplestory was rank 7 for most played game in PC Bangs with the Nova update.

In general it's far more popular but like GMS it is stagnating. I still think a revival is possible for Maple despite all the stupid decisions made but sadly I don't think Nexon will ever follow through with the changes they need to make to bring people back and better yet, keep people playing. This year has shown they want to get players to quit with poor decision making, disorganization with updates (leaving a bad taste for returning or new players) and basically ignoring feedback on big game design changes.

Maybe for you it's easy to abandon your friends but it's not for everyone.

You still had a choice to convince your friend to transfer as well or stay in an empty server. If they choose to stay you have to decide whether you're willing to be in an empty server with them or transfer to a populated one and make new friends. The only people that have the rights to complain are those who weren't informed of the transfer or came back and realize it was over. Everyone else had a choice. From what I've seen in world select, even if Nexon do merge all the server except Bera and Scania. It would still be relatively empty.

I can't believe people are still bringing up this point as if it's the players fault for not following through. It's not. Plain and simple. We should never have had to make a choice to begin with. The order in which things were done is wrong and this is why the blame falls on Nexon for this disaster. I can only hope they never make such a careless mistake again.

Try having a look at some of the videos made about this topic on youtube and try looking at what some people actually said. There's a large majority of people that never wanted to transfer to Bera to begin with. They don't want to be there, but they feel "forced" because of how things have unfolded. So yeah, I'd say everyone has the right to complain about this issue.
