I would suggest taking advantage of the coice coupons no matter how much you want a particular face/hair. It's hard if you have ocd tendencies, but it will save you a lot of trouble.
I can understand your frustrations, but I don't think completing easy events creates player loyalty.
You should focus on how you're feeling so you can understand the mechanisms behind your reactions and find something to protect yourself mentally, then find something to complete for yourself personally (in-game).
At the end of the day, if you can do that, his event can blow over. It's not healthy to obsess over this.
@neospector According to the official rules, the judging criteria is 50% originality and 50% theme. But here and according to the tumblr post it says originality, theme, AND trendy. Could that be a miscommunication?
Enjoy the content the way you can. Worrying about the medal is worrying about something which has mostly nostalgia/bragging value. Shouldn't be a source of frustration.
I've said this before in one of the Look of the Month contests, so it allowed me to reflect on this.
I had always been into Maple fashion and I wanted my character to embody a piece of art, and I thought of the name Mosaic. It has a nice sound to it and is an artsy name. It doesn't even necessarily go with the class.
