  • Best Mobbing Class\Best Bossing?

I main a Hero and I must say the mobbing improved since V patch especially after Override patch. So it's better at 5th job. Lv150-199, you can even get better range on Raging Blow if using the Lv150 hyper Cry Valhalla, because it has same hitbox as Enraged mode, same thing for Burning Soul Blade (5th job skill). Shout, for a 3rd job, does very high dmg and decent AoE even if long casting, but it can greatly help in some maps. Lv170 hyper has vertical range but an ok horizontal range. At V patch if not slight before, it now attacks faster so it can be good for bossing as well. Blitz shield is a very good mobbing skill as well if you don't receive too much damage, so ideally you would want have more than 150% of the required AF map. So in Arcana you would need 540 AF to only receive 1 damage from 360 AF mobs.

As for bossing, it can reach a very high DPS if you reach the maximum potential possible, because it has a low base %crit rate, low base %crit damage and decent attack speed. But it has a very high base %IED, 50% from 1 skill! Combat Order greatly benefits Hero especially because of extra %final damage on each combo orb. My hero can get 100% crit rate without potential, soul weap or legion, because of my Lv3 phantom link skill, Lv2 BT link, Lv200 MM and Lv140+ NL, 16% crit rate as second line on IA, max Hyper stat crit rate and dSE. I can hit hardcap attack speed with dSI, green MPE and IA.
Worldreaver does very high damage and gives you i-frame while casting, helpful for many situations, but it also gives you +72%final damage buff for 5 seconds but you use 6 combo orbs for casting. Cry Valhalla, while active, gives you knockdown immunity, so you can never get pushed. Very helpful for Magnus, Lotus, Pierre and more!

This is the Dojo video past Override, before bosses start teleport, note that I had average 12* tyrants in that time, 24k STR and 68%ATT:

Now my best time is about Floor 47 12:36 with a bit more stars on Tyrant, more Arcane Force and getting Fata Strike 1 node which I never used before. Now I gained 2 more stars on my gloves with great luck, so 14* and now at 25k STR.

Dream Defender made in second week of Oct., I believe:

  • Who ISN'T transferring to Bera?

People who dont care about damage or already done their gears. And also people who dont understand how hard it is to make mesos in dead servers. If alot of posts say their going to bera than the people who shud be going to bera are people who: want to stay f2p, populated world, those people who keep talking about "just merge servers already", like to buy nx equips/bigger market.

You can always gain lvls but you cant get dmg if you cant get mesos and if theres only whales in your server "mybkn" then no ones gonna buy your clean gear. With the cube rates its already hard enough to even make gear sellable (60 cubes on main gear and no tier ups).

It just seems like its the people who dont understand anything/noobies are the ones that want to stay in a dead server.
I don't know why you're even posting that here when you've clearly already made your choice to transfer to Bera which has its own thread.

And you're just copying and pasting your post in http://forums.maplestory.nexon.net/discussion/16313/everyone-lets-all-leap-into-bera-make-bera-huge#latest to this thread as if you're trying to justify and convince yourself of your own decision, rather than anyone else especially with that attitude. Are you that unconfident with your choice? Feeling doubts and unease already huh.

Cuz i know people who struggle with range/barely makes mesos that are staying in their own server for illogical reasons and that theres really no point in not transfering unless you like paying to win then by all means. Im not staying in mybkn cuz no one buys anything? I dont wanna bother doing paypal transactions to make actual mesos when i can sell black crystals easily in bera.

Edit: casuals who dont really care about dmg or the whales who already have their dmg are the ones who stay. If alot of ppl arent moving because of that than theyre just hurting everyones chances for a more populated server. Storage coupons lost can just be a lesson about managing junk hoarding.

Name me at least one reason ppl want to stay in a dead server besides being a casual/whale/p2w player and that actually has a purpose (representing/being loyal) dosent mean amything

It is actually everyone fault to move to 1 same place. I don't see reason why Bera. Looking at ppl who heavily promote Bera on forums and Reddit. I also blame Reboot, taking most f2p players. It is all Nexon fault to not be generous with both, F2P and P2W players in normal servers and should just make 1 big server, like Luna.

I am actually staying in MYBCKN unless all my French friends are moving.

You say that casuals who don't care about dmg or whales with all dmg are staying. This is totally false. I have seen several P2W players moving to Bera too for many reasons, including Hard Lucid and Hard Lotus. Then casual players who wanna play with more ppl. I consider myself as casual and average funding and I have reasons to stay in my server.

This is also incorrect to tell ppl they are wrong not switching server. People have right to choose not transfering.

World Leap is the most stupid event even created. World Alliance is, in another hand, a great idea.

  • Kritias Invasion Guide [UPDATED 2021/01/27]

I didn't know what to do this morning, so wanted read the whole guide here again.

For players who are wondering where the Commander spawn, they can only spaw in one of these 6 maps I will mention below:
-Scorching Forest 1-2 (top middle portal from Forest of Lament 3, northeast part in Kritias)
-Frozen Forest 1-2 (top middle portal from Forest of Pain 2)
-Forest of Darkness 1-2, if I spell it right lol (top portal from Forest of Sorrow 2)

I may be totally wrong here, but I was sure we could just farm 3M contribution for reaching maximum 1,000 antimagic after beating Kritias Invasion. That was in first times I participated, need a confirmation here. But if we fail to beat it, we still need 5M for getting 1,000 antimagic. Sad Kritias is unpopular in non-reboot server T.T

  • Resistance Thief Class

I think they can do a thief Resistence, but it certanly won't be a pupeter, thiefs are swifts and with a suprising attack that you wouldn't expect, a Puppeter is actually the oposite, very slow and hardly moves since he uses others to help him in battle, similar to Bear mode in Beast Tammer, but better.

A puppeter would be better as a magican, maybe a style of outside of any group(like Jett, Bt and Zero), or in the Nova branch, since they are so unique seens more possible there, you havily uses Francis model who should be a magican.

Resistences use mechanical equipments to help em in battle, things that aren't dependent on spirit, magic or similar(like the explorer magican), it's cientific and something anyone could use.

I was thinking the puppeteer class could control mobs, "stealing" their consciousness, if you will. And if they attack with their strings, I think that would be a pretty quick attack speed. As for the Resistance theme of scientific alternatives... What about wild hunter or battle mage? It seems somewhat inconsistent.

I need to look carefully at Battle Mage skill animations except the character itself when looking at some screenshots, but as for WH it's obvious to see some mechanical effect skills, like the jaguar monture, turret skill on 3rd job and giant missile on 4th job. Also it's Lv170 hyper skill on bossing mode I think. I have a Lv176 WH, so I can look after maintenance, stopped playing it for a while.

But I find some pictures of Battlemage and the skills since their major revamp.

Well, you understand what I mean about Door lol. Anyways on skill description on video, it mentions Immune knockback. But it looks like it doesnt do same thing as Hero hyper skill, Cry Valhalla, because I have seen Magnus pushing Santa when spinning. So I guess it's 100% Stance?

The healing effect seems very nice on bosses with potion cooldown tbh.

If you say 15star Tyrant Boots worth more, then why the guy was ready to trade one? o-0 It has legendary regular pot and unique bonus pot. He has like 3 chars, so he mains an Evan and Phantom, then he funded a DA. But I have seen him to say he quit DA. He is also loaded of NX.

***EDIT: Actually on my Hyper skill, it says Knockdown Immunity. So I guess i understand why lol.
