  • World Leap Event

KMS has completely different world population issues, and their frequent World Leap events are intended to solve them.

For GMS, a World Leap event might solve the problems for specific people who are currently crying "My world is too empty, let me go to Bera!" or "Get me out of laggy bot-infested Bera!", but it will exacerbate the problems for those who choose to stay in their current worlds, and those who happen to be on a break when the event is held.
In my opinion, we need to first reorganize our NA non-Reboot worlds into 2 or 3 alliances, and only then hold a World Leap.

Nexon is still looking into the best way to go about solving the GMS world population issues. Copying KMS events willy-nilly is definitely not it.

Alliances were, in my opinion, the worst mistake nexon's ever made with regards to server populations. Now you have 14 worlds that might be a 60/40 split between players and mules. And it's been so long that people are happily established in their mule hoards and are resistant to any changes that would hinder that.

If they're going to do anything, they need to consolidate all of the alliance-world characters to the root server(galacia, mardia, broa) before stripping out all but those three from the world select list. I still point to jms for how they could go about it. If I recall correctly, jms crammed everyone's characters onto a single world, going far beyond the world character cap in some cases, while not returning any slots of deleted characters above the cap.

World alliances were the stupidest way to solve population decline that they could have chosen, and now people are so established that the only way to even remotely do anything is to further shoot themselves in the collective foot.

  • Kanna Is Not the Problem

One could argue that kanna is, in fact, not the problem and that the problem is actually people feeling entitled to a rate of progression faster than what would otherwise be possible.

    Dieing what?

Everyone now is playing at Reboot server. On 2x event yesterday, Took me totals around 2 hours to surfing maps because all good farming maps in Arcana were full. All 30 channels and several maps are full. In the end i gave up and farm on the bad map. All channels are full. Full of players. after 14 hours, i finally manged to get 1 good map. And every 5-10 mins i saw players entering my map to search for farming map lmao. Reboot is way too crowded xD

Even on the old days, before bigbang,i have never seen this many players......

In complete fairness, judging a game's life/death state by how many people are on during 2x is kind of silly. It's like judging an entire year's worth of retail shopping based on Black Friday.

I was not aware of familiars. A quick search seems to indicate that I need to hunt the actual monster itself, collect 3 (familiar?) cards, then double click in the codex to activate. And that I need to renew every 30 days. Is that correct? There is also a lot of contradictory advice.

Thanks once gain for your help

They're in one of the maps between six path crossway and perion. You kill them until they drop their familiar card, which shouldn't take long because they're an incredibly common drop. If you don't already have it out, I'd advise strongly that you check your key settings for one labeled as "monster book" and throw that on a key somewhere you'll remember it. Once you have a familiar, you open your monster book and there will be a tab on the left labeled "familiars". Any you've actually obtained will be in there.

That being said, familiars have orbs over them which can, for simplicity's sake, be considered their active duration. I believe each orb equates to roughly 30 minutes of active time(someone please correct me on this). Now, when you first get, and summon, a familiar, it'll have one orb over its head. You can expand this to a maximum of three(for every familiar) orbs, and there will be a visual indication of this on the familiar part of your monster book. I'm getting away from myself.

The important takeaway from this is that you should get three jr boogie familiars. They go into your use tab. You do as you would any other use item, double click them, and you'll get a dialog box allowing you a chance to give it a name of your choosing. Name it whatever you want, or leave it named jr boogie if you want, and it will show up in your monster book's familiar tab. There is no "your familiar expired so now you have to go get it again" duration. And the active duration can be refreshed in rather cheese-like ways by changing channels(including going into the cash shop)

TL;DR: in between six path crossway and perion, kill jr boogies, get three familiar cards, use tab, use them, monster book hotkey, set it somewhere, open, familiar tab, boom done, no expiration date on anything

  • New shields? lvl 150 mabye??

Or just make the terminus defender more readily available beyond marvel, since that's the endgame shield any warrior class that makes use of one will want to go for.
