  • Got perma banned on my main (kanna)

The only thing that's going to come of this thread is a mod locking it and directing you to the support page.

There is no one that can help you on the forums. I know this isn't what you want to hear, and I understand that you're upset, but continuing to post about your ban appeal here is a pointless shout into the wind.

This isn't a matter of "we don't want to help you, go away". No one here has the ability to help you. I can't help you, the forum mods can't help you. Even Ghiblee can't help you. The people who read and respond to tickets do not participate on the forums. Any blue-bordered post you see, while yes it's a nexon employee, is just a QA dweeb. He can't help you either, so don't waste effort barking up that tree.

  • Mesos Cap 99B

"Hello the economy is bad, I would like to make it three times worse." Again.

Had you come here with this suggestions three years ago, before the meso cap was increased from 10 to 30 billion, you would've been laughed at, hard, for suggesting that increasing the meso cap by fully 10x was somehow a good thing. You know about inflation, yes? Simply letting people hold more money, as well as selling things for more money, is not going to magically fix everything. It's just going to take all the current problems you perceive and triple them.

Also, bots are not making things cost more, that right there is an idiotic assertion. If anything, their existence causes things to remain at low prices.

Having taken the time to actually read through your post, I'd like to pick apart a very specific point.
In KMS, their economy is doing really really good and yet their max mesos is 30bil, they don't even need 30bil as max mesos, so how come KMS and GMS have the same max mesos? it doesn't make any sense, thus I think we should have a max mesos of 100bil.

This one segment makes me think negative things about you. I won't share them, but I'll explain why:

In Korea, they have effectively no bots at all. Not so over here. The biggest problem facing gms is the fact that gold-selling sites exist. The sites serve a multitude of different games, maplestory among them. They sit in towns, sometimes five or six bots, each with a different url, spamming away until someone comes through to sweep up the trash. Those are just the ones in towns. The ones out in field maps are the ones gathering mesos, which some players then buy from them through these sites.

I say all of that to then say this: gms mesos are, compared to kms mesos, worth significantly less. More than tripling the current meso limit in both auction house and inventory is going to have absolutely no effect beyond taking the currently-existing issues in server economies and make them over three times worse than they currently are.

I'm utterly stumped as to how you came to the conclusion that an inventory cap of a hundred billion mesos will somehow help the people who don't have even a fifth of that to their name. They raised the damage cap from 50 million to 10 billion, but none of my characters saw any benefit to the increased cap. All it did was take what once would've been capping damage and make it low output. I currently do nearly double the old damage cap, but I'm still comparatively just as weak as I was before they ever mucked with it.

  • remove inactive players

Not going to happen for all the reasons listed in this thread.

Chief among the reasons given in that thread, activity or the lack thereof is not decided on a per-character basis. It is an account-wide flag. Just because one character appears to be inactive or has, you feel, gone untouched for a significant length of time, does not mean that the same holds true for the entire account.

I'll use myself as an example. I have characters on my account, regardless of their state of progression, that I've not touched in well over two years, yet in other my account remains active insofar as any automated purge nexon performs is concerned. You would have the names stripped from my characters that you deem "very inactive" just because they've sat ignored for longer than a few months?

The reality is, they're not going to randomly come down on people now for name-squatting. Not when they have clearly-detailed criteria and precedent from their last name purge just under four years ago.

  • Transferring Equips with Strict Rules for Reboot

Even the empress gear would be a fairly hefty benefit for a fresh character on reboot.

That aside, I do like Petal's idea up there about a select box. The only stipulation I'd add(since I don't see it in their post) would be for the box itself to be as untradeable as its contents. I did maplehood, today, on nine characters(because I can't be bothered to go any further) and I got two fafnir weapons as well as a hat and a top piece. I digress, but the key takeaway here is that in completing the quest 27 times and opening 135 boxes, I only got four cra pieces, and two were of the same slot. If kept at this current rate of acquisition, I see no negative impacts to changing the loose parts to a selection box. At best, you save yourself a few runs.
