Skills only affects the volume of skill voiceovers(Demons, Xenon, Heroes, Hayato, Kanna, Kaiser, Angelic Buster). Everything else is through SFX.

No no no, there are three volume sliders, with accompanying mute toggles. There's Music, which controls the BGMs, obviously, then there's SFX, which controls the sound effects and is what you're thinking of; lastly, there is Skills, which is nothing but the voice-overs for various class's skill usages.

Honestly, you really need to do your own research on this stuff. Ever since you got yelled at by a mod for most of the threads you started being nothing more than complaining about a class being "ruined" by Nexon(solely because you don't like the thought of things changing I guess), you've started posting threads asking such trivial questions("Where can you get xenon energy swords?", "How do I eat the valentines day chocolate?", "Do fire poison mages still require skill quests?", to name a few) that literally five minutes of looking for the answer yourself could solve.

Boss with guildmates. See the line in your chat that says something about gaining contribution? That's basically guild exp. When you kill a boss with a guildmate, you both get the same amount of contribution added to the guild, plus some extra(I think?) because you're both in the same guild.
