I mean, I'm kinda irked that the servers are down again for whatever reason, but holy lord I'm not going to royally freak out over it. I've got laundry to put away, clean sheets to put on my bed and a whole raft of Steam games I can play.Kinda Agree on that.. I'm playing Fire Emblem Fates atm while I wait.wel we have the "whole" day 2x exp, looks like they need to learn the definition of "whole" since it doesn't last the WHOLE day, but oh well, maybe the pseudo forum moderator will come and also lock this thread due my answerxEvilSoulx,

They are not locking the forum because of you answering. They locked it because of a useless argument. Continuing to insult a company will only get a locked thread. As the moderator suggested, you can go to the sub forum where they are less to no strict rules on content. That way you can say what you want without being locked.
I think you are personally just a little agitated about the servers. I get that.
Take a breather, go for a run, take a breather, and come back and enjoy maple once it is up.
I get that you want an estimate. They did do estimates, and "maintenance is extended for another [one or two hours]" updates to the maintenance newspost. But the problem is, people started whining about how they always extended their maintenance periods and were never on time(which is hyperbole in its purest form, since long run-overs were a rare thing). So now we don't get any estimates, just "it'll be up when it's done" sort of updates. But what you're saying is that, rather than a simple "it's down and we don't have an estimate to give" that forces you to check back every couple hours, you want a timer displayed somewhere that, basically, does the same thing, but without the "we don't have an estimate" part. The thing is that for most part there usually is an estimate, they always start off by saying it should be up by xx:xx PST or whatever, complications occur and that's when the timer is updated depending on what they know. Of course they don't always, but usually they do. Or if they suddenly bring down the servers to patch a bug, that bug is for the most part known and know where to look but for those times they don't always put in an estimated time. For times such as now I'm sure somewhere down the line they've already found out the main cause or if not at least some portions of error and could update depending on that. The whole reason for the suggestion is that a timer is more descriptive than a few words saying come check later. Just like an actual picture is much more descriptive than you explaining the picture. There are times when the cause is unknown, but that's why I said a description could be attached to such clock for that reason.
