  • So uhhh, What's going over there at Nexon NA?

"Calling out" other users or moderators is against the rules. Calm down; yelling gets you nowhere.

I was referring to the announcement post you talked about in your original post. This post is an indication that issue is known and being looked into, it's also meant as advice to help mitigate any negative impacts the bug may have. Not instructions, advice. A workaround, not a solution.

My post was meant to indicate that just because a response isn't explicitly given daily doesn't mean it isn't being looked into. Everyone wants someone to officially reply to their post every day to update them on what's going on. Fact is, I don't know what's going on. I know the issue is known, and I know Nexon made an announcement stating that the issue was known. If I don't know what's going on and have no new information to give you, I cannot update you on anything. It'll be fixed when it's fixed, getting angry and yelling at me is not going to speed it up.

    Close reasons:
    • Inflammatory towards moderators/Nexon
    • Direct attack against another user (as per your second thread, which I removed as spam)

    - Please do not make threads directed at the Community Managers/Volunteers. They will try to offer assistance if they can but please understand they may not comment or have information to provide at the time.
    - Inflammatory threads towards the game, the players, the company and its employees will not be tolerated.

If you decide to calm down instead of lashing out I can try my best to help you. Until then, you should respect the rules and other users.

  • Nova is hitting us tomorrow...

    http://maplestory.nexon.net/news/26699/scheduled-game-update-november-29-2017

The game will go down for maintenance at 5AM Pacific time. That is in exactly 9 hours and 43 minutes from this post.

The game is scheduled to go up at 1PM Pacific Time, at an estimated 8 hours of maintenance time for this patch. After the game goes up there will be a maximum of 3 hours before server reset.

  • Rankings

No he did not explain why he had to do some shuffling and ignoring the problem, and yes it is a joke, and no you stop looking for arguments where there are none, you just hate on Gomenasai for no reason, please leave him alone or else I'll report you myself.

    I explained why right here.

Don't report people for no reason.

  • Nova questions and more

The web events are a series of events you can do through the Nova microsite. This includes both the Nova journey share event (share pages on Facebook/Twitter, earn prizes in-game immediately) and the registration for the Nova Liberation gift package (to be distributed after the patch goes live).

The Nova update is confirmed for the 29th. The first update will include the Nova thief character Cadena, some new common 5th job skills, the Spirit Savior party quest for Arcana, and the return of Zero (for non-Reboot worlds). Zero isn't in Reboot because KMS doesn't allow it; why they don't allow it hasn't really been specifically stated.

  • How/where do you get cubes?

Cubes can be obtained from the following:
    • Events: Keep an eye on the website/in-game current events for potential sources of cubes
    • Boss drops: Bosses including Zakum, Horntail, Pink Bean, etc. have a chance of dropping Master and rarely Meister cubes; the drop nerf was related to how drop gear stacks, and is unrelated to the cube drop rate from bosses
    • Legendary mineral veins: These have a chance of dropping master cubes
    • Crafting: If you're patient enough to keep master/meister rank, you can craft your own cubes
    • Reward shop: Red cubes cost 1,200 RP, and Black cubes cost 2,200; you receive 5 of each per month
    • Monster Collection: Monster Collection gives lots of Occult cubes, which can tier-up to epic rank
Reward point cubes are probably the most useful, particularly if you build up your Monster Collection.

Also, you can use spell traces for clean slate scrolls (2000 traces for a 5% CSS).
