If I need to make a topic for this in General Chat so it gets noticed, than so be it.
It is completely unacceptable that the Re:Zero Surprise Style box contains other items aside from the Re:Zero ones. JMS had only Re:Zero items in their box. Our other sponsor patches worked the same way. Yet, for this one, having other NORMAL NX clothes is OK, with Re:Zero items only taking up 13/50 of them? That means there would only be a chance of drawing them for 13 out of 50 boxes, provided all items had the same chance to be obtained. And none of us are naive enough to believe that the items have the same odds. The Re:Zero ones are probably some super dismally low odds to obtain. And even worse, they will NEVER return. Meaning everyone who plays the boxes and manages somehow to WIN will hoard the items, hoping their price will increase in the future. No one will be able to buy them with mesos. But I don't expect to be able to buy everything with mesos, and I know no one else does. I just wanted to be able to actually have a chance to BUY these limited time items. But I won't, because I KNOW I won't even win one, with the low RGN for them. This is complete BS. Total and complete BS. PLEASE change the boxes so they are Re:Zero items ONLY. I don't care if the other items are 'popular', they are NOT what was promised, and will come back. Unlike these Re:Zero items, which will NEVER come back. I don't care if it's a last minute change next week, or near the end of the patch, change the boxes. Or at least discount the current ones to 1000 NX to make them more affordable. These items will have such a high rarity that no one will have them. How is that promoting this anime in any way? How did they get Crunchyroll/White Fox in Japan to agree to this? It doesn't get new players, just makes the current ones aware they could have had items from an anime, but won't because they'll be impossible to obtain. If anything, this discourages new players, because they see that the promised items from their favorite anime are the equivalent of the watch in the quarter machine prize. AKA they will likely never get it, and will just dismiss this game as being gamble happy. Which wouldn't be wrong, but at least they'd have one box where hope was there that their favorite character's outfit was obtainable.

EDIT: The hair coupons also shouldn't have other styles, they were shown as being Re:Zero only, and stated as such (thanks to DisneyPixar for pointing this out). It's BS it is. And the micro site also does say Re:Zero Surprise Style box, insinuating it's nothing but Re:Zero. The NX part of this event is all false advertising. It isn't at all what was shown or promised.

The only thing that interests me are the clothes and hairs, and one is a gamble, and the other is likely. I'll have to pass, because the last time I did a random box for an event, I spent $60 and got one of the four items I wanted. I got a bunch of junk. And that was the Heroes one, so there were less items, like this one.
IDK why it's gamble only, the other two crossovers we got, we did have a choice of either gambling, or buying them for more money straight out. It's stupid that this is an exception.
The hairs aren't much better, because I'm not naive or stupid enough to believe for a minute it'll be like the SAO one and will offer a choice. And I bet the hairs will be $5 a piece, like the Heroes one.
All of this seriously disappoints me, because I love Re:Zero. I was looking forward to this, only to find out it's gambling AGAIN. I get burned way too many times with gamble boxes to bother. And I can't even buy the items I want because Scania never sells anything, and if they do, everything is $1 billion mesos minimum. >_<;. This will be a boring, useless patch to me with a nice log in screen.

The inclusion of the VIP hairs is a slap in the face for guys. First, the royals for guys haven't been new for weeks, and now, they don't even give guys two older royal options to obtain, but give some of the ugliest VIPs instead? It looks as if they copied the choice coupon data, but didn't include the 'choice' part of the coupon or something. They need to minimally remove those styles, because that is NOT what we are paying for. If we wanted those hairs, we would have used the VIP coupon. Ugh, they aren't even REG. .
And if I ever see the excuse that girls buy the coupons more, therefore there is no point in updating the guys right, someone will get the full force of my anger. I don't make guy characters very often as a result of the bad styles guys so frequently get (I HATE short and spiky hairs), but I would if they came out with better ones. I think of my 20+ characters SIX are guys. Mostly because I'm a girl and like the options for girls' clothes/hairs more, but it is also partly because the lack of good hairstyles for guys. Because they think guys don't care about hairstyles, I guess. This VIP fiasco is even more evidence of that fact, because I bet someone at Nexon HQ said, hey, I bet the guys won't notice if we put in these ugly as heck styles, right?
This is totally unacceptable, and I hope none of you whose male characters need hairstyles buy them this time around. They need to know that their playerbase won't take this. Don't give them money. They have to have a way to tell that a guy is buying the hair or a girl, so it has to be guys. Or at least, male characters.
Also, I lol'd at the monkey. XD. That's them, alright.

Darn, I was hoping they would have changed it back in this maintenance. It is super inconvenient for me for the game to be on UTC. I had friends on other sites that went off of UTC, and it was always really hard to get to talk live because they were on at like 3 am, and left at my 5 pm or so, before I could talk to them (I was sleeping or at school/gone). Meaning a lot of Maple's events will be like them. >_<. Hard to catch. And since when is America a small percentage of users? I had always thought gMS is larger than ems.
Why did they do that poll if it doesn't count? I mean, even Pacific time is bad for me (I'm in Central time.. two hours difference is even annoying.), but at least it didn't mean everything happens during my sleeping or work hours.

My tendency of hoarding coins will now pay off. . I almost never toss coins, because I like keeping souvenirs of past events. I have like 170 coins from the Water Wars event (I forgot to cash them in.. OTL), so I can hopefully get something good right off the bat. .
