I get I should be punished for it, but the fact its permanent for gaining about +400 dex, really? I know people who make 2-3billion a day just botting/exploiting and yet they receive close to no punishment.

here's the difference though, you got caught in the act, they didn't .

while they're at it, make it so succeeding doesn't use up the protection. I still don't agree that a successful enhance or scroll should remove the protection.

Logically, you'd think they'd reward loyal players. But...

It's for people who preferred to use the direct launch. If they'd given the gift to everyone it would have ruined why they were giving it out in the first place.
