Finally, I'd point you towards the definition of a political statement. It escaped me to look for the definition of what you're trying so hard (failing) to prove.
"The term political statement is used to refer to any act or non-verbal form of communication that is intended to influence a decision to be made for or by a political party."
*made up potential future patch notes that are irrelevant to any point I've made*
The intent of this action
would be to allow the people who supported this thread make them more money by allow them to spend on a wider assortment of products.
Unfortunately, this would not meet the definition of the word "Political Statement", as you see - it didn't show bias or influence to a political party.
Honestly, this is going to be my final comment. I believe you've derailed this thread to have "Jolly good fun" - and are providing no sound and factual proof that what you say is true. I have provided factual, sounds facts that counter your .... viewpoint?
I have provided factual, sounds facts
I would recommend you review the original post, and again the compromise Ak was trying to make of remove gender attribute to allow for any items, content, w.e to be used by everyone. You are the one who pointed it out as being a political statement. Nowhere does it mention remove boys, or removing girls - simply removing the tags from items, events, etc.
So, I suggest that the "gender" attribute simply be removed from the game. Make all characters, as well as all equipment, hairstyles, and faces, "gender neutral".
and again the compromise Ak
First I'd like to add that this suggestion isn't about clothes directly, it's about eliminating Gender entirely. I believe those are two different things, with one possibly being seen more negatively then the other, not that I support either potential updates. However, I'll just assume a clothing change for the remainder of this section of my reply:
I'm curious if by "most" you acknowledge that the update has the potential to be seen as a political statement from Nexon by some and that those people would treat it as a negative.
I'm then curious if you think think the number of people who would see it as a negative would be likely to increase or decrease if Nexon just quietly made an effort to release new items without a gender tag and only changed specific existing clothes where most desired.
I am of the opinion that the latter option would decrease the amount who may see the update as a political statement and view it negatively.
Not only have you failed to convince the OP, me, and everyone but one person on this post by refusing/being unable to provide facts that prove your narrative; I'd say you're now just baiting everyone to reply so that you can have your "Jolly good fun".
p.s fix your quoting, I didn't say most of the things you've quoted me saying in the last post. - and I resent that you're trying to put words in my mouth to push your agenda.
I have not accused anyone of attempting to forward an agenda, please don't strawman or misrepresent my positions.
Keep in mind people are replying to DarkPassenger too. I bring this up because you've replied to people as if they are solely talking to you, which isn't the case.
This post of mine is not an argument, so please don't take it as one. I'm just bringing this up.
I don't think the market is there for a EU Reboot and I doubt it will happen. Many of us would stay in GMS Reboot, at this point I think the majority of people interested in Reboot are already playing GMS Reboot from the EU and would have no reason to start again.
Would like Nexon to tell people either way though.
There definitely is a market for a EU Reboot server. The idea of Reboot was cool enough to pull me back into the game, but dealing with ~350+ ping just feels bad.
