Seeing as the Absolute Taste event has started, we should figure out what Recipes require what Ingredients. There could be a broken Recipe I suppose. I'll update this with more info. 3 stars:

    Tier 1:
    Sushi: 2 rice, 3 tuna

    Tier 6:
    Escargot: 1 snail, 1 butter, 1 garlic, 1 parsley
Dumpling Soup: 4 broth, 4 flour, 3 pork, 2 pork rind

    Tier 7:
Fish and Chips: 4 fish, 4 potato, 3 flour, 2 egg. This got me a happy Gourdon and a ribbon-medal thing on my recipe. So I guess 3+ stars?

    Tier 8:
Fried Pork Chop: 2 pork, 3 flour, 1 egg, 1 breadcrumbs

    Tier 9:
    Takoyaki: 5 flour, 6 octopus, 3 egg(type 1), 4 scallion, 4 ginger
Tom Yum Soup: 1 ginger, 3 shrimp, 3 chili, 2 lime, 3 lemongrass, 1 cilantro
    Nasi Lemak: 6 rice, 5 egg (type 2), 4 anchovy, 3 peanuts, 4 cucumber, 2 coconut milk

    Tier 10:
Laksa Soup: 7 chicken broth, 7 rice noodles, 2 coconut milk, 3 shrimp, 2 fish cake, 4 green bean sprouts
Pho: 2 pork, 7 rice noodles, 1 cilantro, 2 lime, 4 green bean sprouts, 1 fish sauce. No broth, which seems very odd to me, but who am I to argue with Chef Ritzy?
Pad Thai: 7 rice noodles, 2 peanuts, 2 eggs, 1 fish sauce, 4 green bean sprouts, 3 shrimp. This too got me a ribbon.

    2 stars:

    Tier 2:
    Hamburger: 2 bread, 2 patties, 1 lettuce

    Tier 3:
Beef Noodle Soup (on its recipe page it's called "Udon"): 3 noodle, 3 Katsuobushi Meat Broth (which looks like Pepe's Fish), 1 scallion
Spicy Rice Cake: I actually got 2 stars on several combinations, ran out of ingredients before managing 3 stars:
    - 3 rice cake, 1 sugar, 2 pepper paste
    - 4 rice cake, 1 sugar, 3 pepper paste
    - 4 rice cake, 2 sugar, 4 pepper paste

    Tier 4:
Hot Dog: 2 bread, 3 sausage, 2 lettuce
Chai To Kwai: 2 rice flour, 2 eggs, 1 radish

    Tier 5:
Chilled Noodle Soup: 5 beef broth, 4 noodles, 3 cucumbers
Goulash: 5 chicken broth, 5 paprika, 4 beef, 4 tomatos
Chicken Fried Steak: 2 chicken, 2 flour, 3 eggs, 4 breadcrumbs
I think the broth types should be reversed between the noodle soup and the goulash. Doesn't make much sense to me to be cooking beef in chicken broth.

    Tier 6:
Chili Crab: 6 crab, 4 garlic, 2 onion, 1 flour

    Tier 7:
Bulgogi: 3 beef, 2 soy sauce, 1 sugar, 1 garlic
Bibimbap: 4 rice, 4 bean sprouts, 4 spinach, 2 pepper paste
Ramen: 7 broth, 6 noodles, 4 eggs, 3 green bean sprouts

    Tier 8:
Chicken Soup: 6 water, 4 chicken, 2 ginger, 3 rice
Spaghetti Bolognese: 1 spaghetti, 4 tomato sauce, 3 olive oil, 3 garlic
Mapo Tofu: 6 tofu, 4 pepper, 4 bean paste, 5 pork

    Tier 9:
    Taco: 3 tortilla, 3 beef, 3 avocado, 4 onion, 3 tomato
Beef Noodle Soup: 4 beef, 6 noodle, 3 bok choy, 4 pepper, 2 chili oil

    Tier 10:
    Stir-fried Rice: 7 rice, 5 scallion, 2 garlic, 4 oyster sauce, 2 fish sauce, 4 egg
Peking Duck: 5 duck, 5 salt, 5 soy sauce, 3 honey, 3 apple, 2 wine

    Legendary Tier:
Sweet & Spicy Shrimp: 15 shrimp, 13 cornstarch, 10 egg, 13 spicy bean paste, 5 chili oil, 5 garlic
    Burrito: 13 tortilla, 12 beef, 12 avocado, 12 onion, 13 tomato, 9 pinto bean, 5 cilantro

Well, I just tried something here for Tier 1 and he gave me 3 stars. All I did was throw in 5 rice and 5 tunas and WHAM! I got a 3 star rating.

Seems to be a trick here, if u try to consolidate the ingredients, they would be (most likely) in the same order as the dishes.

Interesting, I missed the part where a different set of ingredients can result in a different star rating. I'll take note of that here.

You've got the tiers reversed. Sushi is Tier 1, and Peking Duck is Tier 10.

Then why is tier 1 is the rarest box to find?

Have you tried any of the rest recipes to see if its 3 stars on ur part? From what i have tested, 'Escargot: 1 snail, 1 butter, 1 garlic, 1 parsley' gives me 1 star, while the rest of ur 3 star recipes work well.

It probably depends on the quantities of the ingredients which is required to make perfect dish. More demand makes it easier to drop.

No idea. But unlike the medals, this ribbon is still displayed by the dish that produced it in my UI.

It appears the recipes are slightly different between different characters. I assume this is to combat people using a guide to just zoom through the event. Doesn't seem too terribly effective, as the ingredients seem constant, it's only the quantities that differ.

I got 2 star for bulgogi tier 7 with 3 beef, 2 garlic, 2 sugar, 1 soy sauce. the recipe in the original post only gave me 1 star, but that could be bc I was only chef grade 2 when I attempted the recipe

I don't know whether the recipe quantities are randomized per user, or somehow depend on your cooking grade (or other, hidden, statistic that the event collects) when you try them.

Ramen: 4 broth, 5 noodles, 3 eggs, 4 green bean sprouts

    I got 0 stars for this :(

Also it teleported me to map where I have to fight a "Furious Gordon Ritzy"! The damage counter is fixed to 5 per line but he wasn't too hard to beat. He dropped some "Master Chef Feedback" etc items, not sure what they do.

So I tried the Ramen again, this time 4 of each broth, noodles, bean sprouts & egg. Still 0 stars, however I noticed that button next to the try again button wasn't grayed out, so I click on it (and it consumed one of my Master Chef Feedback). The chef gave my ingredients each a star rating, I got a 4, 2, None, 0. He said to reconsider adding the Bean Sprouts (the None rating).

Aaaand I just noticed we have a Green Bean Sprouts and Bean Sprouts :s

4 means you got the quantity exactly right. 0->2 mean it's far->near the right quantity. "Reconsider" means this ingredient isn't in this dish at all (because you used the wrong sprouts).

After asking for feedback several times, he starts telling you "You'll wear out my tastebuds asking for so much feedback. Practice on your own for now." (Even if you still have plenty of those Master Chef Feedback items). As far as I can tell, once he says that, he's done giving feedback until daily reset. However, I haven't been able to figure out what makes him do it. It's not a constant number of requests or of dishes, that's for sure.
