Check out the v.254 - Midnight Carnival - Ludibrium Patch Notes
here!
Aftermath of the World Leap.
I don't know about you guys but it makes me sick to see Scania ch.1 not being full all day.
It just makes it so unmotivated to play even though I still will play because I have my alliance with me to communicate.
It'll be awful for a new player that just started playing to see these worlds.
I really hope Nexon starts thinking about merging servers because this isn't funny anymore.
The goal here is for Nexon to bring in more NEW PLAYERS but this isn't helping it.
More New Players = More Money
The goal here is to construct the community, not deconstruct it.

that new player stuff aint happening
not without better than minimum effort advertising and better PR
The game has reached its peak long ago, and has been declining for some time (which is normal for most games). But, the decline of this game is ridiculous, to just think that even a small wave of new players will sign up for this game is overly optimistic.
It would be more rational to do everything to hold on people who have already played the game, and merge the dam servers, so the population isnt so low
Maybe if they got a popular let's player to do a series and made some improvements we'd see more people. They got PBG to do a video for reboot and I've always wondered why they didn't do more of that. It's frustrating to see so little advertising because I believe it could get somewhat popular again if they just fixed some stuff. Maybe that's just me, though. I just really don't want this game to fail because in spite of all it's flaws I REALLY like this game. I know it isn't perfect, but I have fun playing regardless.
It would be interesting to see the result of heavy advertisement, but that could cost a lot of money for Nexon, and it may not be worthwhile if not successful
They could go for the anime community. That could work. And throwing a youtuber some cash to play the game wouldn't be TOO expensive, lord knows they could use the cash these days. We just need to get rid of these botters, having them around will turn away newbies like crazy.
I mean, you're technically right, but it's not always easy to spot botter shops. I doubt all of them have multiple stacks of 100 items in their shops. As for buying mesos, I agree, it's really stupid of people to buy mesos from websites.
I'd love see someone try to call me out for saying that oneErr, I don't often see shops with gibberish igns. Either MYBCKN is low on botter merchant, or they just idk, gave it to another account/character that doesn't have a gibberish name? I don't see why that wouldn't be a possibility. Also, there's no way that I, or many other people are going to know everyone's ign, on alts, or other accounts because the "Community is tight".
Buying mesos from those sites sounds like a great way to have your identity stolen if you ask me. By the way, does anyone know if any botters use auction house? Do they just stick to FM?
I don't see why they wouldn't use the auction house. Bots aren't fully automated things you know. Every now and again the ones behind it check in to transfer their treasure to another account and sell it from there. Steer clear of bulk sale clean slates and other goodies. Always buy from the low quantity offers.
They do sell in AH, and it's a lot harder to tell because you can't see a seller name. Only clue we have is the size of the stacks, or multiple stacks in the exact same price.
Ah, of course they do. *sigh*
Good to know, thanks!
So, just because they don't ask for that stuff it doesn't mean those sites are safe. Ever hear of a keylogger? And no, I don't think that just because I have anti-virus it means I'm safe. Way to make assumptions. Also, pro tip, being a condescending jerk isn't the best way to advertise your content. I certainly won't be watching anything you put out. You know what they say, people who think they're really smart usually aren't.
Part of it too is just that there's no real community anymore. I mean back in the day all the old PQs really helped you to make new friends but now they give such dismal exp and the rewards are pretty lackluster. Guilds are essentially worthless because there's no sort of guild related competition aside from flag race which is dull at best, and training overall is better solo. A lot of people came to maple due to word of mouth, but the words coming out of most players mouths now are about how awful nexon is to their customers, how mundane the gameplay has been, and how everything costs so much money in this giant online casino. What we need is competition not based entirely on who can spend the most money, and community enhancing events/content to help make the game more interesting overall.
I never did PQs in the day, but I kinda want to try 'em. Too bad there's no one to do them with.
By December im sure Nexon will do something, theirs no way, they will leave the population distribution this way
