[Pink Bean] Mission Failure Condition Broken?

So escort missions (desert caravan in Grand Athenaeum Book 1, Ifia in Von Leon questline, Kenta in Kenta PQ) seem to be broken in that even when the NPC loses all their HP, the player does not get kicked out of the map (thus usually having to resort to manually leaving or waiting for the timer to run out).

This issue may or may not relate to the "Bitter Taste of Failure" secret mission in the Pink Bean Diary event, but I don't know for sure.

    Have any Pink Beans actually completed this? Failing a Pollo/Fritto mission doesn't work, neither does failing an escort quest, etc.

    I failed pollo's escort mission and failed the suprise mission to help pollo and fritto no diary completion. Others have not gotten it after failed Kenta, Grand Antheaum book 1 quest, and goblin pq and not gotten the completion.

    I haven't personally tried it myself, but there's a post in the bug reporting forums mentioning this exact thing, so I'm guessing that there is actually an issue involving failing escort missions.

    LoL, just today on Reboot server, I saw at least 10 angry smegas regarding the "Bitter taste of failure" mission.

    WE ARE NOT ASKING FOR THE ANSWER,
    JUST CLARIFY IF ITS A BUG OR NOT PLZ!!!

    We all know that it's a "hidden mission",
    but MSEA and KR server's clear condition: [Fail an escort mission] doesn't work.

    Let alone, failing an escort mission, in general, isn't working.
    If you fail ANY type of escort mission, you don't get booted and nothing happens. (This itself is clearly a bug)

    I mean we know that you guys changed the clear condition for "Your Name" and it's cool and all,
    but making clarification on whether this phenomenon is a bug or not is CRUCIAL.

    I myself is hesitant on looking for other solutions because this could be a bug.
    (considering you guys messed up the Sunday Event lelz)

    I saw people digging through every quests in the book and clearing anything related to "failure"
    WHAT A WASTE OF TIME IF IT WAS JUST A BUG ALL ALONG

    It's not hard, just tell us BUG OR NOT

    ^And a few reddit comments on how various methods that have worked on other MS versions aren't working either, so thinking it's a broken code issue.

    I'm currently holding off questing or gaining levels on Pink Bean. I'm scared that I'm going to do a required quest for one of the hidden missions and It'll be bugged.
    I can confirm that the hidden quests, "The Prince Who Loved a Human" and "Your Name" are working though.

    I think we would all like some input if there are problems with the hidden quests. Are the quests bugged, or have we somehow not found the solution yet?

    The only hidden quest that's currently bugged (to my knowledge) is the Bitter Taste of Failure one. All the other ones work, and even with that, don't think you need to worry about doing the required quest while it's bugged because worst case scenario, they fix the bug and you can send a ticket in with the screenshot of said quest in the completed section of your quest log if it doesn't properly auto update.

    If it isn't bugged, then detailed instructions on how to complete it will be required, as evidenced by the amount of people failing to, well, fail in numerous different ways.

    idk who changed the title of the thread to "pink bean mission failure conditon" but the original title was "escort mission failure condition broken" because that's specifically the bug I was reporting. It's not really debatable that escort missions appear to be broken because they don't kick you out of the mission even when the NPC loses all its HP. There's a possibility that this breaks the possibly related PB diary mission but they shouldn't be treated as the same problem.

    No one changed it, all of the exact (or nearly exact) same threads got merged, and it was deemed close enough to be in one thread.

    I have finished all the quests except this one and sent a ticket, they give the same response, try other methods... like... we have tried like EVERYTHING but this quest should not be this hard to complete, clearly it's a bug.

    kinda seems like it, a bit waste of time if they dont give a hint, the other thing i could thing of is getting a 999 combo and let it reset but i dont know,

    Looking for any update as to whether this is bugged or not. If it isn't, then as mentioned before looking for a detailed hint or the solution.

    I asked ghilbee and it is confirmed to be a bug, now will it be resolved during maint idk would have to wait for maint notes to be updated
