I only had 7 buffs going... 8 if I count Echo... 9 for Concentration... Max I was getting was 4x when I tabbed it up. EXP was nice, but not exactly great. After you hit 205 it really doesn't matter, it's going to be a grind.

Why should they? They'd mess up a lot of people for their boo boo. Besides, Reboot got jacked due to someone crying foul on reddit over BiS items. Why should we suffer for that? 4x EXP is a nice compensation for screwing us over.
They should have kept the Reboot items even if they were Meso purchased.

You can pull about 10-25 million a day from doing a boss tour. If you have a Giant Spider and can get the Meso and Item drop +% boosters from potentials (item or on-character), you can steadily clean up from selling drops and the money dropped too.

Raising the meso cap isn't solving a problem, it's only worsening it. What they need to do is add a max price for any item listed. Add multipliers for any type of enhancements done and then cap the prices of items.
