Ah, Nexon, never change.
The new way of dropping bad news end of day Friday: let the Bean Brigade reveal it after everyone at Nexon has gone home for the weekend. Fantastic.
What is this absurd daily cap on Sol Erda Energy farming? and per world, at that?
Nexon: Look, burning to 260!
Also Nexon: Oh, but you can't progress 6th job on more than one char, and even that one is 4x slower than KMS.
If you open the Cash tab in your Zero's Equipment window, you'll see that you have two separate tabs.
When you equip a gender-neutral item, you are asked whether you want to use it for both.
But when you equip a gender-specific item, you'll only be able to use it on the matching half. So, for example, Male items will be visible when you're tagged into Alpha, but not when using Beta.
But Nexon's purpose in adding these features (Arcane River Pass and event calendar stamps for Maple Points) was to make money. Why would they want to let us have them for free?
I also want to point out that these aren't "pay 2 win" features. More like "pay 4 laziness". People who spend no money can get the exact same Arcane River daily rewards as people who spend money, they just have to do the dailies.
This is as opposed to, say, Clover Tool, where people who don't pay cannot get as many Clovers (and therefore, as many items from the shop) as people who do pay, no matter how hard they're willing to work.
Are you talking about Ability Points (STR/DEX/INT/LUK) or Skill Points (for skills, which differ by class)?
For Ability Points, there is no reason to do anything other than auto-assign. Putting AP in any stat except your class's primary will make your character weaker, and therefore it's very good that the game makes it harder to make such a mistake. I don't see how it would be "forgiving" to let people easily assign multiple points to a sub-optimal stat.
For Skill Points, the UI does allow you to assign as many as you want at once. It hardly matters anyway, since all classes except Beast Tamer get enough SP to max all their skills by the time they're level 140.
