I have both male and female characters.
Some of my males have short hair, and some have long hair. Same with my females.
None of them look like real-life me.
Maplestory has "April Fool's" hair and face coupons, which allow characters to take on styles that are normally "reserved" for the other gender. You can make a male and female character that are identical down to the last pixel. And they're also identical in terms of stats, skills, and other gameplay features. So what purpose does the gender attribute serve, other than to limit cosmetics (which is something you want removed) and weddings?
I agree that having 12 Royal selections at once would make it more expensive to get the styles you want. So the coupons can be separated by "long hair Royals" vs "short hair Royals", or "delicate-featured faces" vs "bold-featured faces". I've often seen people complain that a certain hair or face is put in the male line-up when it's "obviously feminine," and vice versa, anyway. (less)
blue tinted, the character should keep this distinction but it shouldnt restrict them from wearing the opposite genders clothing. masculine versions should still exist and feminine versions should still exist, tagging them with (m)/(f) makes sense. faces and hairs should still be restricted to their respective genders, this makes a clear distinction between the two character types. i dont know why this is so impossible to grasp
The color of the underwear makes no real difference in the sprites, which is why all characters could technically wear all clothes, as you desire.
As for hairs and faces - there are those who complain about certain hair and face styles being gender-restricted, when in the real world you can do whatever you want with your hair, and there are women with thick eyebrows and men with long eyelashes. Why is your request for clothing freedom any more valid than their request for hair and face style freedom?
It would be technically much easier to remove gender tag entirely from the game than to change all clothing to be gender-neutral. And it would certainly be easier than only changing some clothing, as some of your posts suggest. (less)
The difference is that the Star Wars items existed in the game and were equippable by your character, they just happened to no longer be sold. Customer Support could easily create new instances of them to give you.
In this case, you are asking for something only the developers can do, a change in the game's programming. It could be a very easy change (just removing the Female-Only flag on the nova tunic) but it still can only be done by a programmer, over at Nexon Korea.
We have repeatedly asked for a solution to the scarcity of items that are gender-neutral and can be anviled onto CRA top or bottom. No progress, yet.
You might want to look into Cash equipment covers. Perhaps you can find the look you want in that domain.
I have looked through all the cash shop inventory. There's nothing that comes remotely close to the Link tunic outfit look I'm searching for. If we make suggestions here for developers, can they be forwarded to the right developers in Korea, forwarded to the right people? I'd really like to think that making suggestions here has any weight and merit to them. This massive cosmetic limitation is a big concern to me.(less)

I was just explaining why this issue is a lot less likely to be solved in the form of a personal favor, like your Star Wars game issue was.
