Keep in mind that there is a difference between criticism and abusive behavior.
While we welcome players to give constructive criticism, we do not tolerate harassment or abusive behavior towards any of our players or staff.
The result of this particular forum account's ban was due to their abusive behavior across various platforms and failure to comply with our rules.
If a player treats others respectfully here, but treats others abusively on another platform, there will be consequences. If a player is found spreading the use illegitimate programs on another channel but never posts here, there will be consequences.
You as the person represents your forum account. Don't be confused into thinking that it works only the other way around.
Forum bans are rarely the result of a single action and are the result of an accumulation of offensive behavior or abusive actions.
We will not be appealing the ban for this particular account at this time.

We've submitted a compilation of the styles players would like to see in rotation for the future.
Mostly likely, the earliest we'll start seeing a lot of the styles from this thread will be sometime around May.
However, there's also a good chance that some of these are already included in closer rotation dates.

Love the enthusiasm and your drive to assist the GM team sweep the streets of hackers, but I'd like to address this statement I've quoted. This is not how our GM team operates when banning illegitimate players in-game.
While our team does visit spots that hackers frequent, new areas are added when new trends are noticed.
If you do spot a hacker in-game, please send our Customer Support team either a video or screenshot proof so that they may investigate further.
I've made friends with a GM over the years who's told me how you make GM's only patrol certain areas of victoria, and no where else in the game. I've worked with him to hunt down hackers and give him IGNS of those hacking, and he banned them soon after. Believe me when I say GM's don't do anything and they're limited by Nexon who caters for these hackers by changing maps such as LHC/HOH/SDH, specifically because of botters.

- 18 Years or older.
- Must be active and on the official MapleStory forums & Discord.
- No history of using exploits or illegitimate programs.
- Moderate and participate on the Maple community forums &Discord.
- Be courteous and kind towards other forum members.
- Uphold the Forum Code of Conduct and enforce the rules fairly.
- Assist planning ideas for creative and fun contests.
- Provide a helping hand on community temperature reports.
- Must be levelheaded when addressing difficult situations.
- Must possess excellent written and communication skills.
- Value providing constructive suggestions & feedback
- Must not be a supporter of the Black Mage.
